I request that we have levels or ranks to depict our status in the world. The reason is mostly to help determine where we are with others with an idea of the set of SP we have. We can't just go around saying, "I have 33,456,201 SP." Every time I log in to see the total value of my SP, I see it as my level. It's easier to say, "I am level 6" and people will estimate me to have about 400,000 SP around that level. A chart can be established for easier reading for everyone. Plus, levels and ranks are fun achievements and accomplishments we can feel good about ourselves. |

CCP has stated that they want to add certificates in Dust, like Eve. In Eve, a player can decide which Certs to make public. I think this is the right model for Dust as well. |

I don't recall Certifications from EVE Online. Can you please elaborate? |

Certificates are completed based on skills completed. For instance, you might get a core dropsuits standard certificate once you get the core skills (electronics, engineering, etc) to level 3,and a core dropsuit elite when they're all at 5. You might get an elite AR cert at some level of AR proficiency as another example. In Eve, you can choose to make any of these Certs public so that when someone looks at your player info, they will see the public Certs that you have. |
