All right, I do realize their are already a lot of posts an the subject of aiming. But most of the posts ether did't get to the heart of the issue, or were too general. So here's my opinion. The main problem with the aiming system that is currently in use today, is the stupid reticle acceleration. If you don't know what reticle acceleration is, it's basically if you hold down your right stick all the way to the left, the reticle will speed up as you rotate as if your changing your sensitivity while you're turning around. And as a result everybody is over shooting their targets at long to medium range, and in short to close quarters everyone is under shooting their targets. Because no one can judge their shots accurately when the reticle is constantly changing speed. The fact is the best way to make the reticle feel tight, is to make it a start and stop. No acceleration. Full control of how fast your reticle is going. I've been talking to a lot of Dust 514 players, and they all agree that the reticle feels as if they have no control of it. And as a side note, I use the DS3 as an example, but this is not a problem only found on the DS3. KB/M also suffers from the same problem of reticle acceleration. In fact it's worse for the KB/M. But please CCP, I'm not saying these things because I think I could design the game better than you guys. I just want this game to be fun and engaging. |

would have been nice if ccp learned how to make the ******* aim system before they got into FPS. how do you expect anyone to play a first person SHOOTER when you can't AIM at the stuf you want to SHOOT. |

I'm more forgiving of CCP. After all this is their first FPS, and it's free to boot! I'm just trying to point them in the right direction. |

The input lag is also very noticeable, at least with the mouse. Try it out. |
