I think its pretty clear.. what you have done.. ITs now a game STRICTLY For AR's and I believe CCP is shamelessy going this route..
I mean have you heard from ANYONE who thinks nerfing EVERY weapon except the AR is a good idea? , while simultaneously unbalancing the entire game??2
Has anyone at CCP played lately.. The AR's are absolutely OWNING with like 2 shots from anything Duvoulle and up.. Rarely even see the guy who shoots you..
There are NO heavys.. NO MD's... no swarms... no snipers..
I got news for ya CCP.. This game is about to fail with a swiftness.. LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO USED TO ENJOY THIS GAME OF FAIL..
This isnt EVE.. where theres just empty space between ships.. and you can nerf buff stuff at will.. Out HERE when you nerf stuff you change the game mechanics and make a weapon useless... WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME.. this is a shooter and you dont get to make changes whenever you feel like it.. ITS ABOUT BALANCE .. which you HAD achieved on the last patch..
Why the resistance to community as a whole, and the resistance to just using common sense???

This thread is funny after watching my best friend take a Heavy out today with the Forge Gun AND the HMG and just harvest people like it was nothing. And that was only a Standard Heavy. Not even a Sentinel.

Yes,
AR are an exaggeration. Some variants have 900 damage per second. I've died just by looking at one the wrong way. True story. That DPs would not be so bad if the gun wasn't accurate from so far away. If you know distances inside of dust you would know that 50 meters is very far away but 60 to 70 is even more. I've died at all these distances. Dying at 70 meters from AR fire is just nuts. Too tight of a spread at these ranges.
Fix my mas driver. At least you know these can only shoot you 8 times max and most likely hit you with splash damage that will only tickle your shields at those ranges.
CCP just get into a game and look at the kills. Most of them will say duvolle, glu-5, tactical, gek 38 may I go on. Rant, Rant, Rant. >>Profanity goes here<<< |

Funny.
I do better with a Shotgun than an AR, and my AR character has more SP and it's better invested for their primary role.
And my tanks aren't too badly hurt by ARs. At least most of the time. |
