I'm so unsure how the entire skill point system works, and I haven't been able to find any resources explaining things.
What is bonus sp? When does it reset?
Why am I only getting ~1k at the end of battle all of a sudden? I see that I no longer have bonus sp, but at the rate of ~1k sp per battle some of these skills will never get leveled. Right now a skill is requiring 900,000sp.
Is this how the skill leveling system is set up? Gain sp quickly while you have bonus sp, and as soon as you run out you have to grind like crazy for the rest? |

Bonus SP is accrued when you have an active booster applied. Active (SP from battle) and Passive (SP gained over time) boosters increase your SP gain by 1.5x. The active booster also increases your cap by 1.5x which means you'd be gaining more in the same amount of time.
We have a weekly SP cap in place. SP is gained in battle at a rate of 5 SP per second in a battle and 1 SP per WP gained. Sounds kinda silly that SP is given by time spent in the battle, I know, but hopefully that'll be changed soon. After reaching the SP cap, we have a "soft cap" of 1000 (or 1500 with the active booster). It resets every Wednesday during server downtime which should be about 1100 GMT.
So yeah, you aren't experiencing getting bonus SP. You're seeing your SP gain before reaching the cap and drop like a rock after. |

So once I get to my cap for the week, I am only going to get a low amount sp per battle? At that rate it seems near pointless to log in and play anymore. The amount of time it takes for a battle isn't worth 1500 sp. |

I like to grind for isk. Then again, I'm greedy and can't use my Eve pilot as a sugar daddy yet. |

If you're te type of 'gamer' that plays games just to see some arbitrary number ticking up, i.e. accumulating SP, then yes, it may seem pointless to login and play.
However, if you have fun playing the game in its own right, or participate in in corp stuff like planetary conquest etc, then you might login even after hitting your cap. |

You need isk and you can get very very good weapon(officer) from salvag |
