I think it would just be AWESOME to be able to have AI small turrets. I mean, large installations do, so why not these tiny things? We're like 20000 years into the future; it would certainly be possible. It would also be plain cool Lol. Though it shouldn't have like 100% tracking abilities.-á
-á-á -áThe range in which it detects an enemy would differ between turrets, blasters having the smallest detection range, missiles more, and railguns the most.-áA special skill would increase the detection range for all turrets by 5%. It would be a toggle on/off feature, with just one button, so if you wanted to stay stealthy they wouldn't be giving your position away, but also stay on even when outside your vehicle, therefore guarding it.-á
-á-á -áNow, im still debating on whether this should be a module or a skill. More likely a module. It would clearly be CPU based, and take up one Low-P slot; as do the majority of turret modules.-á
-á-á -áSome may think it would decrease teamwork... 99% of the people in my tank AFK or shoot mindlessly in it. It would bring in more kills this way, hence helping my team even more. AI turret kills should only give half the WP of a normal kill when killing, and half the WP of an assist when assisting. Only for HAVS; and maybe MAVs when they're released, it simply enforces their role in combat, but would alter others in rather terrible ways. Like a small mountain of AI LAVs... just no Lol. |

This is the best thing I've heard in forever. Turret AI is really awful so I can't imagine this being over powered. |

No. This would allow too much solo power for the tanker. If AV is expected to be required to "bring a crew" to take you down, tanks should be expected to "bring a crew" to achieve their full offensive potential. |

^ this. My squad ALWAYS has something better to do than ride around ***** in my tank. Sometimes they'll jump in if theyre taking too much heat or use me to get from point D to point E on big maps.
Also to Alaika Arbosa.
When has an AI turret ever killed you? Theyre almost useless. Just a LITTLE bit less useless than an empty turret.
**** I would trade both my man-able turrets for one AI turret. |

Firstly I never said I couldn't let squadmates inside, but they do have better things to do, mainly capturing objectives.
Secondly on AV, this module would not be some god mode thing. as long they don't make the AI too strong it wouldn't be a problem |

I do loke this idea as a dedicated tanker but id have to say no to this , if much rather have my squad mates operate my turrets and jump out to hack objectives and other such hackable objects whilst I watch their backs . Ai turrets sound cool but would push tankd to the point of op as we are supposed to be infantry support not just one man death machines |

I have been finished off by unmanned blaster turrets because I was farther around the corner than I thought. This, however, is beside the point (which is): Bring friends to man your turrets or don't cry if AV gets made a solo profession. If you want AV to need to have several guys to bring down your HAVs, then don't expect to be able to have more than one turret running if you are alone in the HAV.
No having your cake and eating it too, AV brings a crew, HAVs bring a crew. |

I like the idea honestly because most tank gunners are useless. They either AFK in the tank or they can't hit anything when firing. Now there are some tank gunners that are amazing but most are just horrible. |

the only reason i support this is because i simply cant get anyone into my tank for long squad or not my squad mates wont even do it to earn orbitals faster the few times ive actually had a full tank usually dont even last a minute before everyone bails and its much harder to deal with the AV'ers without the gunners if nothing else to help keep them away from my tank |
