5-14 was the date you officially released a one weapon video game. Go ahead take a bow. after this respec, in honor of your great achievement how about releasing the data showing how many people are spec into AR. To be honest you really don't have too actually, just look at the kill-feed.

Yes... I do agree with the OP at some degree as well, they should have released all racial variant assault rifles before launching the game. It's just weird now, because everyone is specing into ARs (Or SRs now that they are available).
But than again...

Topics like this that address CCP as a whole are annoying. One or two devs will read it and literally be impacted to no degree because of the manner in which the issue was presented. |

Deep down everyone knows its true, I'm willing to bet my 300mil on my dust toon and my 10bil+ wallet in eve this game will be all AR spec'd players after the second respec. The only other spec'd players are going to be vehicle alts and new players who don't know better.
On that note: new players, pro tip, play with the militia weapons, but spend ur sp in AR skills. I'll take your thank yous by eve mail |

I am sure you are right. I am also confident that AR's are probably the most popular weapon in most shooters. Most shooters just have more AR variation. We just have to wait a little while longer for that.
As for AR use in general, you have to put things into context. We just got larger Squads. We just got more compelling options for real team-based gameplay. Those things will invite more specialization and a player can feel comfortable carrying a specialized weapon because they know someone else in their Squad has a complimentary weapon to make up for what theirs lacks.
You probably will not see that kind of diversity in Instant Battle but then again, would you expect to? |
