Remember when you could actually use a normal AR? Only 2 weeks ago the mechanic of the DS3 could compete with the KBM. I understand the range nerd even though its a little too short, and that AR were a little OP. but the tactical now is ******** OP. the movement mechanic are so F-Ed that everyone is Neo. Been through a lot with this game, and completely enjoy this build if not for the overall failure in the game play.

They AR still is a very decent weapon, it just have a different "role" now ;
- Very effective at low-medium to close range / high recoil, but very accurate in short burst, and aiming trough the sights.
- Useless for open space battle, but deadly in urban warfare.
You just need to change you mind set to; flanking and ambush strategies. |

Don't rose-tint the past. The past was really bad for everyone except people who wanted to play Counterstrike in space. |

I still using the AR, still is my favorite weapon... no much have chance for me, except just using different strategies. In other words.. i still playing counterstrike in space.. as you say it. Sorry to rain in your parade. |

You can still use a normal AR. In fact, that's pretty much all I run, except when I need some good range, which then I'll pull out the Tactical. But that's not a very common occurrence, and I generally dislike the thing. |

I didn't want the gun gone, I just dreamt of a situation where I would engage an enemy and not hear that ridiculous buddabuddabudda noise coming from them for about half a second before they got shotgun-popped. With Uprising now I get to hear the tactical instead! Cool!! |

What are you talking about, AR good in close combat?
Spraying is now extremely ineffective, aiming down the sights speed is so slow all one has to do is jump left and right or even strafe. Skilled scouts are impossible to touch. I guess thats why many people have moved to Tac AR.
The current AR is just not the same as the Chromosome AR. Could be a good thing since the old AR was a bit OP. |

remember when ppl actually had a sac &left the mcc??? remember when you died in a match, and it was actually from a gun?? remember when ppl actually used skill for kills, & not an LAV?? remember when afkers couldnt shoot through the mcc?? remember when snipers watched objectives and actually left the redline??? remember when LAVS were easier to kill then HAVs??? what a game it was.. now u die 5 times in a match n 3 are LAVS n the other 2 are mmc/redline bums shooting you...
for all you LAV drivers learn to shoot or go play gt5 if you like driving vehicles more than shooting.. also for all you mcc/redline pussies GROW A SAC! |
