Epic fail. All the systems I listed have at least one blue planet and the little district squares available to see. Yet they're all unconquerable because they're in hi-sec. GG. |

Wasn't this map being passed around as a guide to what planets could be captured? No mention of any of those planets here. I'm not up to speed on hi vs low sec planets in Molden Heath but this guide would've probably solved these doubts. |

I know it wasn't but if people had followed this guide, they'd realize none of the planets they thought of taking are in PC. |

ive been casually following the Planetary Conquest discussion over the past few weeks.
from what I had watched and read, I was under the impression all of Molden Heath would be up for grabs.
I will admit, I am fairly unfamiliar with EvE and its associated terminology.
as was stated above the Starmap does little to clarify this issue.
Question- if a blue planet , in Molden Heath, is Hi-Sec, but noone has claim on the planet, who owns the rights and resources of the planet? |

The map, which they gave the wrong version of (Correct Version) only shows those systems that have conquerable planets.
I agree that it would be nice if the starmap did a better job of communicating security status, but just making that map was an epic achievement. There are only two other noteworthy 2D maps of New Eden that I'm aware of, and neither one was designed to show PC planets.
Perhaps that will change, but right now Ombey's and Dotlan are all about the space game.

The Minmatar Republic.
In hisec, the faction polices it heavily enough to prevent us from holding it indefinitely. In lowsec, this is not the case, and in the specific case of Molden Heath, the Thukker Tribe (which owned the districts) put them up for grabs in the hope of improving overall security in the region. |
