just thought if PC was rolled out to the whole universe tomorrow that would be 7000 planets thats nearly a planet a player (i know number of player on server and number of active player is different so maybe more like half a planet but still)
its true PC will not be for all corps yet and big alliances will rule but smaller corps can run FW I don't play EVE but from what i read thats what it is like some corp just play FW, hopefully FW can be made to be as fun and with its own rewards and when we get into null sec the big alliances will most likely move there and high sec PC will become more accessible |

Until they implement a system to contract mercs we need to do it ourselves, that is if the small corps hope to stand a chance. Smaller corps and small groups of friends that just like to hang out and battle together will need to network in the chat rooms. I created a chat room called "squad 5" anyone is welcome to stop by and offer a squad for hire or ask for a squad for hire. Feel free to fill squads there as well, need a heavy, shotgun scout, whatever. I haven't invited anybody to the chat yet, but when battles are available I'm going to spam invites. |

Combat situational awareness is more important. If you are advancing near the back of the six man team it's faster to see shield flares and engage than waiting to hear someone call out, "Contact right."
As an average player myself going to sit back and see about occasional squad pick-ups from channel. Holding land sounds like too much Networking, work, and e-peenage drama.
When the null map really opens up I'll be more interested then. Especially when it means helping a friend's Eve alliance. |
