I connect my PS3 to a Samsung Plasma TV via component cables. I'm not sure if it's running 720 or 1080. The graphics in Uprising look horrible on my TV, definitely not like the high-def graphics I see in the Uprising demo videos. On my TV, Dust looks like it's running 640x480 on a PC (e.g. big, pixelated plants, sharp scraggly edges).
Running other games on my set-up look fine. I tried to change the graphic settings via the master quarters main menu but I couldn't see anything to upgrade the graphics (like increasing the resolution on a PC game). Can someone provide some hints how to get better graphics? |

Yup, HDMI is a must for HD.
If you use the wires that come with the PS3, then it's only 480i. |

Install and run Dust on a PC, that's what the devs do. |

Check your video settings on the PS3's XMB to see what resolution you're running at. It might be 480p. |

Makr sure Sharpness is set to 0 on your TV settings.
Sharpening only gives you bleeding edges. |
