I've heard tanks were gimped, and have been on teams where they got mauled almost immediately by me and my corpmates, though to be fair if I'm going solo the tank is likely to survive the entire battle as it aims for me and only me since I'm the only one intelligent enough to grab the swarm launcher.
Soon all the tank drivers will be in PC and fighting competent players, so I ask the community, specifically the tank drivers, should the tag be dropped to make up for the amount of tanks that will be lost and to make the risk worth the reward? |

no the gap between mitlia and everything else should be increased (preferably adv price raised)
I don't want to see another ADV tank ruin an otherwise gd game of skirmish :P
EDIT: if they can't afford it, they shouldn't use it (the stakes should have to be very high for someone to bring the most expensive thing ISK and SP wise into a game ) |

Really?
My tank used to be able to survive a whole game of Skirmish now it doesn't even make it past the first half of the match.
Especially with 6 man squads and OBs only costing 2500WP. Plus a lot of people used the re-spec to get Proto AV. |

thats how it should be, surviving half of a match in one vehicle sounds pretty fair to me and the price should match that.
I should say that I have no comment on whether the tanks and OP/UP or whatever I just think that you are using the most powerful thing in DUST bar an OB so you should pay for it. |
