Hey, everybody. My name's Grumpy and I'm the DUST-side director for Red Eagle Industries.
We're newly formed (less than a week old), although I and the CEO have dabbled in EVE from time to time before we formed Red Eagle Industries. REI has popped up in several forms, mostly consisting of the two of us with some friends. I'd like to change that by offering an open invitation to anybody who wants to join us on DUST or EVE (or both, if you'd like). I'll be handling the DUST side of things mostly while Sciencegeek Deathdealer handles the EVE side.
What we would like in applicants:
- Good teamwork
- Friendly attitude
- Microphone (not required, but definitely a huge plus)
- Willing to listen to directions if given
What we do not want to see in our applicants:
- Racism or homophobia
- Raging, whether against corpmates or random players
- Creeping on female members (should there be any)
I'm not looking to be a dictator when it comes to corp management; both Sciencegeek and I are willing to listen if there are complaints or if a member believes there is room for improvement. However, I also expect anyone in the corp to behave at least as politely as they would in person. If you want to swear, that's one thing; I do plenty of it myself when I get frustrated. What I won't condone is calling other players racial slurs or any other derogatory things or telling female teammates to get back in the kitchen. I think there's plenty of that all over the Internet and if there's one place I'd like to avoid it, it's in the games I play to have fun.
I also can't promise amazing perks and a huge wallet to pay for your equipment that you use in battle; if you're running PUGs, you'll have to pay for your own fittings. If we decide to do a FW or PC battle at some point, we'll be willing to help pay for (if not entirely cover) the costs of participating as well as share the loot.
If you're interested in the EVE side of things, we've mostly done industrial (read: carebear) stuff and PvE missions. Whether that changes depending on our size is up to members later on, but right now that's likely what we'll be sticking to.
To sign up with our DUST division, please either post here or contact me in game. I am online usually between 11PM and 4AM UTC (or 7PM and 12AM in Eastern US time) and I'll be checking this post at least once or twice a day.

Rookies are always welcome; everybody starts off green and the only way to get better is to play. Joining a good corp is an important first step, particularly in DUST and EVE. Just search for my name (or Red Eagle Industries) and find the corp page, then apply.
You aren't required to make a donation, either, and we don't plan on taxing to start. That'll come if/when we get involved in Planetary Conquest or Faction Warfare. |

I would like to join your corp. I'm coming over from the pc like I usually do every 4 months to play console restricted games. I have a extensive background in FPS's and only enjoy playing with a team. I'll have a mic for the ps3 by the beginning of next week.

Hi. My name is Jayson Spade, and I would like to join this corporation. I wouldn't consider myself a rookie player, as I have been playing since Beta (albeit with different characters) but i'm certainly no pro. I hope that a corporation will help me to hone my skills and become a better player, as well as see how the inner machinations of corporation work is conducted in the game, as I plan on starting one of my own in the later future.
I generally work as a sniper in Skirmish games; I pick one or possibly two objectives and position myself away from view but with a clear shot of said objective(s). From here I attempt to pick off any enemy who tries to hack it or guard it. If close enough, I can also dart in and re-hack it in case I fail to protect it and it becomes lost. I do pick my shots, however; I don't just open fire on an enemy who happens to be in the area. I wait until I can at least see his/her head.
Though I do usually work alone, I am no stranger to teamwork and am fully willing to take orders if given to me. I don't have a microphone yet, but I plan on getting one within the next two or three months. If possible, I would greatly appreciate being paired with other snipers should I be accepted into the Corporation. Thanks for your time! I'm usually online for about two or three hours, once or twice a day.

We don't get any contracts at the moment; I'm just trying to build up membership and try to get people active at this point. As to how often I'm on, usually every day. At the very least I'll play a couple of matches to get some SP, but I'll play five or six if I have teammates to play with. I'm also available during Sundays and Mondays to play pretty much whenever.
Unfortunately, it seems my members are either on at different times than me (EST, usually 7PM or later when I work) or have given up on the game already. If I get more dedicated people, I'll be happy to run a squad every night. |

Hello, I'm extremely new to dust514, and in fact not a hug FPS fan. this one i really enjoy just from the small amount of time I've spent playing it. I have a mic, and i am usually on from (Central American Time 6:00 till 11:00) although being a dad and working 50 hours a week that changes. I really enjoy teams on any online game, I don't mind following a battle plan, and i can lead in a pinch if needed. I am however still learning, what I'm trying right now is mainly assault rifles, and i have been dabbling in piloting. My Character name is Hunter Priest, and if i get on tonight i will send an application. please consider me. |
