Ok so can someone from ccp tell me how a grenade launcher can damage a tank alot
Explain
shoot a grenade at a real life tank you will see that it might leave a little dent but wont be a contributing factor to blowing up a tank so why should a future grenade launcher damage and future tank |

It won't even flirt with your shields.
Maximum it can do is around 400 HP so unless you were already close to death I'm not sure how a MD could kill a tank. |

I've noticed it was easy to pop MLT LAVs with a freedom back in Chrome. But the MD is a kinetic based weapon, so it's useless against shields. But the damage bonus is a bet excessive for what it does to armor vehicles in Uprising. I'm a MD user and I'm admitting this. |

Hello,
Damn Straight I will shoot your LAV with my mass driver. It will take me 8 shots to kill it, maybe more but I will. Anyway I'm just saying that if a mass driver kills a tank that tank operator was doing something wrong. It had to be in armor and badly hurt because if it had full shields they would have taken a decade. I mean it takes a Full clip and more to kill an LAV. I seriously doubt I have enough ammo to kill a tank in one go before it GTFO of there unless it was being OWNED by something else beforehand or was standing there doing nothing.
I have mass drivers V and spec 3. and use the EC-variant |

Yes. This is true. I shoot at tanks, after fluxing, mostly so they get scared and leave. If you are driving a tank, and you were killed by a lone MD user, lol. What else can be said?
It's not like the MD is rocking mass damage. Just be glad no one with a forge found you earlier.

Forge Guns... The only reason I have a militia heavy and the only reason I will ever use anything else than a mass driver. To kill tanks and drop ships.
BTW I also Have forge guns to V and spec 3, No wonder I can't use assault or logi suits :(

Yet it's the AR nearly overwhelms it in DPS to the point that it's a novelty compared to it. Also, the MD has a severely low battlefield longevity because of low ammunition capacity and the second slowest reload speed out of all the light weapons. Understand a weapon's weakness before citing personal opinion please. |

Mass Drivers only do a decent amount of damage to armor... if someone ripped your sheilds apart on an MLT Caldari tank, with an ADV or better Mass Driver, then... you failed horribly.
the only real way MD hurts a tank is if it has very little armor, and no sheild what so ever... or has a bunch of friends helping blast you....
only reason i blasted a tank yesterday with my MD is cause i had a strong squad helping me out, we jsut ran out of AV grenades soi i fired my gun... didnt actually expect that on an ADV tank |
