There is 0. Medium frames move just as quickly as light frames. .5 m/s is nothing noticeable. They also have higher armor and shielding and thats not even a specialization. Clearly that's broken, it needs a larger gap in movement speed.
Light/scout need to get in and out quickly. Other wise they are assault that can see better and die easier. Maybe make the walking speed 6.5 m/s and the running a solid 8.0. This way they are squishy but nimble, you know, the way they were intended.
Then we have the fact that every single individual has AV potential now. The Hacked EX 0 AV grenade requires 0 skill points and only costs 2010 isk. Its an advance tier and it gets used constantly. Lets put a sp requirement on that. A high one too.
The cost of AV SP wise needs a drastic increase. AV is far too mobile and powerful. Players can get to places vehicles cant, and launch from utter safety. They can jump, run, and crouch all while firing. All of that with a very powerful AV weapon that most of the time is free militia AV. Free versus atleast 1mil sp into tanks. I dont think thats very balanced. If youre going to make AV so effective ISK wise atleast make it as costly SP wise.
For instance there is a player named Tank Eater. He has managed to spec into AV AND into i think assault is what i saw him wearing either way it was ADV. to get a decent tank you can't do that. You must focus solely on them. I just now started specing into the light frames. Sad face.
The tac. Rifles we all know about. Please decrease the magazine size. Make it like 15 or so, and drop the ammo down to around 100. This way they have to manage things a little more closely.

Given the price of the tank I'm wondering if we shouldn't consider having to buy ammo... this would allow for a bit of a cost equalizer when firing AV rounds. It might also be more dynamic and a lot more subtle then messing around with SP costs all the time. |

There needs to be more incentive to use weapons that aren't Plasma Rifles. (not Assault Rifles you tryhards) HMG is finally able to hobble a bit after a nerf bat to the knees, but everything got a huge DPS nerf to the point that they're all novelties. |

Umm dude, lets go on a trip of enlightenment the Minnie scout runs at 7.9 m/s, the gallente runs at 7.6 m/s the medium frame is considerably slower than the scout. I do agree bout the av grenades, but they're broken or they wont be on the market much longer

theres other weapons? i thought they removed everything but the tac ar in this build. |

I have been having a lot of problems with scouts lately. They can approach without being noticed and because of their speed its impossible to kill them while aiming down sights (the sensitivity is too low) unless they are moving straight to you of course. Spraying does not seem to be an option either, because hit detention apparently does not work well on scouts and I have noticed an increase in spread for ARs when spraying. Melee? Probably suicidal considering that most of these CQC scouts have nova knifes.
I don't know, maybe its just me but they don't seem to be that bad. |
