 It seems like the only way to deal enough splash damage to infantry is by hitting the ground roughly half a dropsuit's height away.
 An average person is roughly 1.7meters tall. But I seem to deal no damage more than a dropsuit's height away from it with an advanced large fragmented missile launcher.
 
 Hopefully it's just an explosion issue that's nerfing missiles currently. Otherwise missiles will benefit from a 50% splash radius buff.

 isn't the blast radius on the fragmented like 4 meters? that's almost 13 feet
 
 i remember hearing a while back that the blast radius' in this game are a flat circle on the ground if their feet are an inch above the impact point or their head a inch under the impact point it wont hit this is why its so hard to hit the dang jumpers with explosives in general because they are literally jumping over the explosion
 
 they need to change it so the blast is an actual sphere so that it properly hits things within its range

 That is they way they are. They got a significant Nerf Hammer Of Doom some while back and have never recovered much usefulness.
 
 That mixed with the significant odds that any movement by their platform will render the missile itself into a random direction indicator means small missiles are hardly worth the effort. The rest of the small turrets have similar problems and as there has never been an acknowledgement from CCP that suggests this is by design.

 actually missiles received a rather nice buff with uprising i can definately say small missiles are much more accurate than before its just the way the game determines blast radius that's holding them back now
 
 its decent enough that i can consistant hit installations with missiles from a dropship flying at a decent height while moving i think the missiles now travel more along the direction the vehicles moving so i have to slightly reverse lead(not sure what the actual term is called) but not anywhere's near as bad as last build

 Yes blast radius is 4m for fragmented missiles, though I feel like it should be more as well as more splash damage. A lot of people can throw all three AV grenades at me and start running away before I can finally kill them with splash damage. But first I want explosions to be fixed before I really start voicing out requests for splash radius/damage buffs.
