Or is it broken ankles, I only jumped off the stairs half way up and was rewarded with what sounds like bones breaking....OK.
I try to jump off the velcro hills when they stick me in one place, broken legs noise.
I jump out of the MCC or something else high up (or not so high up) and I am using the Inertia Dampener and I am rewarded with the broken legs and inertia dampener noise when landing, really.
Between the sounds of the grenades cooking and the legs breaking, I got to ask ... who the heck is doing sounds for you CCP?

The "landing" sound from a high jump could use a tweak. It sounds like an injury has occurred. Of course, you could have posted this in the correct forum and with a bit more class, but that's not how peeps roll around here, huh? |

I find it to be satisfying. I jump off of things simply to hear the sound sometimes. = )
Seriously. I do.
I 'fell' off the objective platform once. You know, the little 5cm 'curb' you have to actually jump over in order to hack? Yeah. Took 30+ shield damage too. I'd be mad, but I got to hear my ankles shatter. = ) |

Well.
Since the clones are immortal, there is no end to how long they can live.
So, our clones could be upwards of 100 years old, which makes our bones really brittle. |

It explains why we have powered suits. Come on here, the forge gun would be better placed on a vehicle. Real men of genius made it held by man.

I do this too. It reminds me of the Minecraft fall damage noise. |

I could be wrong but I thought it was only our consiousness that is immortal, not our "bodies".

Yea, not sure if you looked at your clone after you got into it or not.. But I definately saw a "Made in America" sticker. The warranty on the internal parts only last for 5 steps or 4 seconds, whichever runs out first. But for an extra 1.5M they will offer you a protection plan that offers another 20 steps and 16 seconds.
Sounds like a great deal to me. |

Yea, I never needed the sound for the grenade, and it doesn't make any difference for me. The ankle breaking thing, yea...I don't really see the need for it. |

I must be one of the few who likes the sound. Yeah at first I thought I broke my legs with that jump but now I like it. I'd be sad to see it go. |
