I was bitter when I heard they were nerfing my beautiful Viziam LR but begrudgingly accepted it prior to May 6th. The I skill into a LR and low and behold the ugliest sights I have seen. Personally for me it makes the gun unusable because it is very difficult to see the enemies.
Any plans to remove the sights??
It feels like a double nerf. Killing the damage and then the sight too. Overkill IMO. I think I have seen someone kill with the laser in only 4-5 rounds since May 6th. If that doesn't say something I don't know what will.
Also any plans to include range info into weapon stats? Almost seems unbelievable that they weren't there in the first place. |

Range info would be a godsend.
I've not noticed many laser kills since Uprising. I know I'm going to regret this(likely when a laser is melting my face off), but the LR does need some sort of buff. I haven't meet a LR user who liked the new sights. |

The laser doesn't need a buff. It desperately needed a nerf. The Viziam was a mess. The damage nerf was necessary. The sites are a problem, but it isn't unusable. I can still down things pretty easily with the laser, now. Don't remove the sites. Change the sites. Give it the new AR sites and reduce the glow when firing. Don't remove it. Reduce it. |

Bump. The sights make the weapon un-useable. WHY DOES A FUTURISTIC LONG RANGE LASER GUN HAVE GIANT, HOODED IRON SIGHTS?! It makes no sense. Reduce the blinding glow and put a scope on it like the scrambler rifle. |

im fine with no sight... not even the little dot we got before.. and the glare too.. take it all away! before in the last build i used my Elm all the time (if it was the crater map then id wip out the Vs), id say iv used it 4 times since just cuz of that sight
fine with damage, except whats with the Vs. fine it deserved a nerf but why is it the same damage as the elm? Range also sucks! |

Several issues with the laser right now 1. The sites suck, very hard to track the target with them, which is essential to the laser 2. Damage. While the Viziam may have been overpowered(Never used it myself) the current version cannot kill anyone who is not at deaths doorstep already, so it at least needs a better damage buiild up. 3. Range. The laser is MID RANGE weapon, so, it should out range the ARs and at least have as much range as the TAC ARs. 4. Needs a slight increase in damage per level, and maybe a bit less feedback per level, slight does mean slight, say 0.5 or 1 per level, so from 17 at base to 17.5 at mid to 18 at top tier or 17, 18, 19? Seems reasonable as the other weapons have this.
The laser appears to be the Amarr version of the TAC AR, so it should be as effective at the mid ranges, damage and range, currently it is not even close. |

The Charged Scrambler Rifle is going to be the Amarr version of the TAR. The laser rifle is essentially obsolete with the release of the scrambler rifle tomorrow. |

the standard laser rifle should have been left the way it was....
it was fine and now it cant harm anything...
the lr was not op it was decent at mid ranges because thats where it was most effective now the higher tierd ones.
i didnt plan on using any ways..
i only got lr skill at 1 last build and it seemed like a decent weapon unlike every other gun u have to spend 20 months skilling into to be effective. |

agreed. the sights are terrible. BUT i do find its a quick kill of the enemy at long distance. I like it's operation much more than sniper rifles for a distance weapon. |
