I worked on this all night so please forgive any mistake
When releasing the FAVs(Fast Attack Vehicles), there should be different variants and different Turret choices
Fighters and Bombers Cadari:Light:Shielded:Low Armor: Fast Better for Fighters with Swarms
Amar: Balanced Shield and ArmorGood for Both with Missile Pods or Swarms
Gallante :Heavy:Armor: Low Shields: Really SlowBetter for Bombers with Bombs
Minmitar: (I dont know their traits)Suggestions(I dont know) Suggestions
Turrets Every FAV has a Blaster as a Primary Turret and a Second Turret of their choosing, which can be switch with the SQUARE button which is currently useless as the OPEN BAY DOOR button that doesnt work OR the EQUIPMENT WHEEL. (M)Blaster:(Fighters get a dam bonus)
(M) AAA Swarm Launcher:(Fighters get a decr lockon time) More damage to Armor(Gallante FAVs and Dropships) Should not be to lock onto HAVs
(M)RailGun: Heavy damage but harder to aim, Does more Damage to Shields(Caldari FAVs and Dropships)
(M)Missile Pod(4 shot)(Bombers get the same bonus as the missile tanks)Better for Infantry(Bomb Run/Shrafe Run)
Bomb Bay(Guided) (M) [Impact Bomb]No explosion ( get....Suggestions) Better for HAVs Installations and HAVs
(S) [Cluster Bombs](6 small scattered bombs in the)
Propose (L) AAA Turrets for HAVs AAA Turrets will be able to look up 75 degree(?) but cant shoot at ground level. 50 degrees?
(L)AAA Swarm Turret:Longer range than current swarms and lock on slower, but decr handheld swarm range (So to make AAA Swarm more useful at longer and infantry swarms better at close range(low fly FAV, Dropship, a HAV, LAV, etc)) Better against Armor(Gallante FAVs and Dropships)
(L)AAA Blasters: Slow rof high damage (Can look up 75 degrees, but cant shoot at ground level)
Fighters: Focus on Anti Arial Vehicle(Fighters,Bombers,Dropships), with a Blaster Turret(M) and favor(can use there turrets even a bomb bay) either a (2 missile) Swarm Launcher(M) that has a decent rof, speed, and missile life based on damage(i.e. Breach Swarm Turret heavy damage, low rof, and short missle life(requiring shooting from close); and Assault Swarm Turret high rof, decr damage, and a longer missile life) or a Rail Gun Turret (M) requiring a accurate shot.
Bombers:Focus on Anti Infantry and Ant Ground Vehicles and Installation(Tanks,LAVs,Installation, and People) with a Blaster Turret(M) and favor (can use other turrets) either a Missile Pods(4 shot)(M)(similar to the L Missile Turret but different attributes(i.e. direct damage,splash damage, rof, missiles per shot, etc.). or a Bomb Bay containing (1) (M)Impact Bomb(Non Explosive. Does Impact damage) or (S)Cluster Bombs(6 small bombs)(Does scattered area of effect(aoe) explosive damage. The bomb will be guided by an ATTACK ORDER given by the SQUAD LEADER and when in firing range the ATTACK ORDER symbol will change from RED meaning NO LOCK to GREEN meaning LOCK ACQUIRED. Then the pilot can drop the free falling bomb. The bomb would have(depending on the varient) ONLY DIRECT, NO blast slash damage, very low rate of fire(to keep for constantly droping death from above.) Impacts does high damage to HAVs and Installations, but the SP req should be massive and the cool down should be (30s?) Clusters do damage to Infantry but have a longer cool down. (3mins?)
Before OP post about Bombers They would be(depending on the RACE) slow flying and they have a long cool down after firing. And they are "killable" if you have a Fighter or AAA HAV. Even a crazy Assault Dropship
Their should be a Militia version. Currently the only way to test something is to try a militia version or to skill into it, and if you dont like it you're sol.
Militia Limited to fighters with Blasters and AAA Swarms and should have minimun fits like other militia vehicles and minium cpu,pg, hp,etc
Everything else is skilled

Why?
They already have the next several vehicle variations in development.
As long as you had a good time doing it cool. But expectations beyond that are highly optimistic. We have seen many, many requests for fast attack, fighters, jets (although how that differs from the fighter I have no idea) and the ever popular jump jets. Strap them to your boots and attack the Red MCC with Nova Knives. What could be better than that?
