idk what to say or wher to start... the UPRISING controls, JUST PLAIN SUCK... they constantly try to ZERO, making ANY smooth bank impossible... the ADS crosshairs ZIG-ZAG more than Bob Marley... IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY, to add CHROMOSOME flight as an alternative configuration? ive flown BlackHawks, CHROMOSOME flight was beautiful... UPRISING controls are more akin to TOP GUN on Super Nintendo (jets) with 'flight assist' turned on... CCP PLEASE... for an ACTUAL pilot this is nowhere close. |

I share a similar sentiment. The old controls made a lot of sense. The new model is very unintuitive and impractical. |

Wait, controls changed? I spent all day yesterday flying and didn't really notice any difference except that now R1 shoots. |

ALSO:
Fix the turret, allow 90degrees of motion (straight forward, to straight down) this would allow a sppeedy troop drop / bombing run (strafing run) ... and fix the CONTROLS... 2 birds... 1 paste previous programing sequence, add turret to center of 'look' axis (for ADS) ... PLEASE CCP! |

On another point:
It's a mystery to me why the front turret on the ADS's can't aim to the side and you have no way of turning the turret itself while in first person view.
What i would suggest is to make third person view stay as it is right now and then change first person view to act like the following:
In first person view turning the turret to left or right won't change the alignment of the entire dropship UNTILL the turret reaches a certain degree (like 45% degrees to the left) by then the entire dropship will begin to "follow the turret" meaning the dropships alignment will begin to turn with the turret. This way ADS pilots should be able to use their turret much more effectively.
Hope this makes sense to people.

i actually think the dropship controls arent too bad right now, if just a bit lacking in finesse, feels more like it was ment for bombing strafes. they need a bit worked out in my opinion, especially since the Assault types have the turret permanently oriented in the front, ment more for fighter chasing then. |

Controls are fine you just need to practice more, you need to use pitch roll and yaw together at times. You would know this if you had flown a UH-60, and you would know thatYaw does not work too well at high speed in Real life, and that at high speeds you use roll and pitch at the same time. If anything I think the ds controls are to sluggish. Plz do HTFU and practice |

no1 has more practice AT THIS than i. take ur combat exp from ACE COMBAT elswhere, it flies like a "flying Saucer" NOT the "BlackHawk" of Chromosome... trust me... ive actually flown BOTH, and played ur little BF3,AC, and FlightSim GAMES. 6yrs USAF... |

So far as the controls feel:
Chromosome was pretty good. The ships were nimble and full deflection of the stix resaulted in a pretty good rotation rate about the axi (axiis?). The new build turned the unstable easily maneuverable ds into the TITANIC. Also the camera positions stink compared to the previous build. Plz fix. They constantly give me a view that does not correlate with flying. |

IMO, these controls are very easy to use, of course i did not use Dropships before Uprising.
But there should be a way to customize your controls, or at least another control setup. |

yeah i would like to fly with my throttle on the right stick with the yaw, but i think that ccp is just trying to balance the game a bit atm. i can wait a little longer. |
