Under several assault skill bonuses it talks about hybrid weapons. What are hybrid weapons?

Hybrid = any plasma or rail weapon. The idea is that they combine the qualities of energy and projectile weapons.
The probable exception is the scrambler, which creates a "laser-induced plasma channel." |

CCP really needs to put out an Official List of "Hybrid" weapons, equipment, & etc.... or add the "Hybrid" tag into descriptions.
since everyone is so azz confused on what is what. |

Not sure Swarms are considered hybrid since it does bonus damage to armor. The Plasma Cannon, however, should be added to that list Tuesday. I think all the others have been mentioned though. Not sure about Nova Knives, I think they said its a Caldari weapon but what is the damage profile on it? If its 110 shield 90 armor then it should be hybrid. |
