Hello, and welcome to the feedback thread for my proposal presentation!

This takes you to a PDF that is saved in my Google Drive account. I recommend you download the file for better viewing. This is a large presentation, it has over 30 slides, and includes links to youtube videos and pictures. I put a lot of work into it, but am happy about the final product. This is sort of a sequel to the suggestion series I made awhile back. It has some of the same ideas that were shared there, but goes above and beyond what that ever dreamed of being. I hope you guys enjoy.
Below, I will answer a short FAQ:
Q: What is this?
A: It is a presentation that I made. It compiles much of the feedback from around this forum, polishes them, and combines them together in a prettyful slideshow.
Q: Why?
A: There are a lot of unique ideas here. However, a lot of them were not quite at the level they needed to be, and were often times fueled by a sort of bittervet rage. I cleaned them up, made them a little better, and organized them. It was quite a chore.
Q: So you pretty much just stole people's ideas, put them in a slideshow, and feel the need to post a new thread because of it?
A: Well, not quite. A lot of this stuff is merely based on ideas I found here. However, I added a lot of original work on top. If anyone knows an idea was particularly theirs, just let me know and I will gladly give you credit.
Q: Noob
A: Well, if you want to get technical, this game has barely been out for over a year. Therefore, we are all noobs. So, you are correct in your accusation.
Q: Why would you post this now, Dust is releasing!
A: Well, just because the beta tag is taken off, does not mean that all production instantly stops. CCP is going to be putting their love sweat and tears into this until the bitter end.
Q: Once again, Why?
A: I made a promise when I signed up for the beta. I would provide CCP with feedback about their product. I also absolutely love CCP, and am passionate about their product. I have been playing for awhile, and during that time have come across many things I would like to see improved. So I am posting here in hopes that it may reach CCP, and it may eventually get fixed.
Now, for what I would like you to do. I would really love it if you would provide feedback. I put a lot of work into this, and know I made a few mistakes along the way. Please point out any grammatical or technical mistakes that I made, and share your opinions about the points I make in it. Also, if you ever get a free minute please take the time to say something productive and bump my thread. This moves it to the top, which allows more people to see it, gains me more feedback, improves the chances CCP will see it, and shows them that the community has an interest. If you want to share a like I wouldn't mind either, but would prefer if instead you would share this thread in other places around the web.

I updated my OP a bit, and went through the presentation and fixed a few typos. I know there are still some there, and will fix them when I come across them.
I also made the second post in this thread a Update Log. I have a feeling that I am going to be changing things along the way, and would like the people who read it to know what has changed.
I have also included a credits section in the second post. If anyone makes any good suggestions that get included, or if someone can show me that something I mentioned was originally there idea by giving me a thread link, then I will include it in this section. I recommend you go to everyone who is listed here and give them a like.
Overall, pretty much just tweaked everything. Also, sorry for the triple post, just wanted to get that update out there.

Well, thanks for that. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that people have to click an external link, and that it just takes so darn long to read. Glad somebody liked it. |
