Right now, Assists help your WP, but they don't do anything to further your k/d. Why can't 2 assists = 1 kill? |

I disagree on this, assist in the future could stem from just running electronic warfare. Yeah you jammed his sensors you assisted in the kill, but you never made the kill. |

I also disagree. Assists right now are as easy as just putting a single bullet in someone then walking away. It doesn't balance out the idea that 2 assists = one kill just because CCP gives you 25WP for the effort and 50WP for the kill. |

Your WP is a worthwhile stat in itself and should be considered when it matters (which is at no time other than corp recruitment). KDR is just an e-peen stat anyway... your history doesn't matter, it's all about the next fight. |

I actually prefer the assists being shown as-is.
We don't need another way to pad KDR for the E-Peen avengers.
I like knowing exactly where my contributions are, and the knowledge that 14 more people than originally expected died because of my actions.
that's a lot of ISK destroyed in the case of protomonkeys. |

My KDR would be like 10 billion to one if assists counted partially towards it. I'd rather see an ADR and an AKR alongside the KDR than have assists affect KDR. BTW, as a guesstimate my AKR is 2.5 assists per kill, and my ADR is like 5-1. Having all 3 ratios would be a bit more interesting than the bland KDR-only stuff. I like the little percentage circle in the endgame stats screen, so something like that on the leaderboards (a kill/assist/death comparison) would be pretty cool. |

Easiest way to answer this is NO.
2 kills = 2 kills, 2 assists = 2 assists. If you would like them to = 2 skills get the kill shots, assist your own kills |
