I find it hilarious how it's always the same "scrubs" crying build after build that "X" weapon is OP.
Considering the aiming along with hit detection is currently wonky we really don't know how the other weapons perform. Until then people need to suck it up and just start using "cover" and "team work" to take people down. |

I personally believe the tac Ar is a flawed weapon. It should have the range of the old ARs and lose the damage bonus. I find that reasonable. |

Every time something is a little to strong or "op" almost every imp of note is using it. Back when the tac was op what where they using?
Back when dropships and tanks were op what were they using?
Now that the tac is op what are full squads of 6 imps using?
Props to aldin for not stooping.
Im sure protoman or someone else will tell me to get good or some other nonsense but when tje tac ar is nerfed I will be loling whilst us chickens destroy you with balanced weapons. |

I think people are misticking nodded controllers for always full auto. Full auto wouldn't help the TAC, but from what I understand there are nodded controllers that are able to have customizable fire speeds and patterns. |

Actually the chromosome tac was garbage because of SS you could reproduce results of a TAC with an automatic AR.
The current TAC is exactly where it should be minus perhaps the 10% dmg bump. Fact is the other weapons havent even gotten their range bumps yet. As they get better range then returning fire against TACs will become easier.
Moreover a squad of Tac is just deadly, but again the range issue is why they work so well in a squad because you can use a 6 person squad to cover a wide area due to the RANGE advantage.
Oh and i use an SMG and MD i really love OP weapons . |

People keep crying for a nerf of this weapon, but if it's nerfed to hard, it will be forgotten again. You guys miss your Duvolle's that much?
I'd take a ROF nerf. 2 -3 shots a second. If you're getting hit by a lot of bullets from the TAR, you're moving to slow. |

I've had several people tell me that they were using modded controllers. Now, did I see them with an actual modded controller in their hands? No, though they were using TAR's and were putting out more shots than I believe is humanly possible (Heavies going from full to dead more rapidly than I've ever seen).
Also, this person isn't one of the better players I know, rather mediocre TBH.
Am I going to accuse anyone/everyone of using modded controllers? No, though I do think that CCP should implement measures to render rapid fire controllers ineffective. |

Tac AR great till you encounter a fast moving target, or you know any other player that can aim, i will admit its kick one hell of a punch, but i just class the Tac ar as another weapons i need to fight differently like HMGs or shot guns. in the TAC Ars case, its get close enough that it becomes diffcult to line up a shot and then spry and pray like you never have before, i just dont stop moving.
this strat appears to be working for me :P |

the whole reason the TAC was nerfed for Chromosome was Because of its 0 Recoil being abused by players during previous builds.
the utter stupidity of saying that people are not using a game changing controller throws several decades of (FOTM) gaming data, across all genres, out the window, whilst singing dixie and dancing on one leg.... you're trying just a little too hard bru, its just a little too obvious :P |

in all honesty I can do around 8-10 shots a second using a mouse with the TAR, so unloading a clip in 3 seconds really isn't that hard, most fights in dust are decided in less than 5 seconds. |
