Heavy Salvo Silver Talon Corporation 2	Posted - 2013.05.11 14:42:00 - [1] - Quote I've about had it at this point with the Tacs, I have no issue with the gun itself besides the damage retention down rage compared to the regular assault rifles HOWEVER the people using Tactical rifles and firing at what I would consider full auto has just gotten ridiculous, set a legitimate limit to the firing speed or do something about these people.

I totally agree with you. tac ar's do way to much damage and have something that feels like the range of an old ar. They are meant to have a longer range but nerf the damage a bit would you And yeah as you state i've also seen quite a few people fire just as fast with a tac ar as i can with my gek ..... add some kind of ROF restriction then we'll be there

Yeah, I've used the Tac ARs if you fan it hell yeah it shoots fast, but not the kind of speed I'm referring to.

With my Duvolle it is, but with the TAC version it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm at minimum or maximum, the bullets retain the same damage.

Hmm here comes the question i wonder what the minimum and maximum for the tac ar's are ?? Yeah i have noticed that but having the tac ar as a long range variant of the AR the longer range compared to fully auto is ok. So i don't hope it turns out that the tac ar has a very long range as this is not how the AR's are meant to be played like.

Been wondering that myself, I've never really tried to figure out the exact ranges but I've got the feel for it at any rate, love backing off and just watching the bullets hit an invisible wall and disappear, hahaha.

Really? not true i use the standard dovole and go 10+ kills unless guys weilding tacs are in game Yep, although I stopped using my duvolle altogther and just use the tier-1 assault rifle....if the Duvolle Tacs arent ingame and it's just GLU users I do pretty damn good. [EDIT] don't see a point in wasting the ISK on a duvolle when I do just as good with the tier-1.
