In all honesty. Do the people complaining about the logi suits see any other suit, other than the caldari logi as a fake logibro.
I have never seen any other logistics suit used as a pure combat role. Its because the other ones are made in such a way to where combat doesn't seem like a #1 priority.
Also, most people enjoy the shield bonus of the caldari, and since the basic frame Is an assault suit. There's no reason to actually spec into an assault suit. Might as well get 2 for 1 right?
So all in all I just want CCP to take a nice hard look at the number pure combat Logis there are, and how many of them are rocking a caldari logistics suit. As well as the fact that the rewards for going down the other path would in no way warrant 5 million SP. |

I'm going to quote myself here.

People that armor tank actually equipping, throwing, and using Flux grenades. We have a clear cut and obvious counter. Just because people don't want to adapt to a new situation doesn't mean we need to get beaten to death with the bloody nerf bat.
Here's my two cents for the people yelling for Logi to get nerfed/changed.
Your ass is down on the front line, that line is breaking, and the only thing keeping the team from losing is being able to HOLD THAT DAMN LINE, until we can save your suit and keep you on the field: do you want someone that can take a few hits, pick you up and get you repped, or someone that has to duck for cover the entire fight because his shields and armor are made of paper?
People have the tools to deal with the problem themselves.
Caldari suits are so shield-heavy that one magical grenade is -all- it takes to make us disappear. People need to start using them.
Barring that, if I -had- to choose something to lose, I'd probably ditch the grenades. I never really use them anyway. My AR keeps reds off my squad mates and helps me hold a position with another squad member. My High Slots make sure I am combat viable if my squad gets dropped so I can deal with a threat and get my squad back in action. My Low Slots make sure I can use Regulators to reduce my recharge and equip Stims to keep up with my more mobile squad. My Equipment lets me run the standard Triple R suite for Repairs, Resupply, and Revive.
Take my tools, you take my trade. You take my trade, you take my job. If I have no job, I can't benefit anyone.
I've been a Logibro for a very long time. I've also learned to adapt to a fighting role so I'm not one Logi supporting 3 squadmates(Chromosome) and 5 squadmates now. I have to be adaptable so my squad isn't weak.
Do I run around purely looking for murder? No. |

I fight in my logi suit. If my mates need help they know to ask. If they don't ask but I see them low on armor, I give them a rep. Depending on the map and who we are up against I may attached myself to a heavy.
My fit is more expensive and requires more SP than an assault. |
