The clones for each team is 50 each. Is everyone happy with this? I think the games are a little too short Imo.
I think they should change the team size to 18 so it is divisible by 6 (6 man squads) and increase the clone count by double. What do you guys think? Do you prefer really fast matches or more playing time? |

I tried to play it but it just wouldn't launch into a game. I'm passively playing, i.e I'm waiting for the 14th, no I am NOT AFK'ing in the MCC! Instead I'm upgrading my guy with passive SP.
I was 1k SP away from getting the next CPU upgrade but it just wouldn't launch into ambush.
I've obviously got 20k passive SP since then but still, the game doesn't work

Keep trying, I joined 3 games this morning saying that the games were already finished but after that I was able to join 4 more without any problems. |

So no one thinks that the 50 drones count ,was design to work with the original weapon damage, and the 10% overall weapon boost have broken ambush, because the battles are finishing to quickly ?
Why i have to keep saying the obvious ... the 10% weapon boost have broken the game mechanics. |

I both agree and disagree with your point.
Without the 10% boost, I found that it took much longer to kill someone. (not saying that I suck) because that problem also affected the enemy. If I was going 1 vs 1 or even 1 vs 2. I could easily run away and survive. Same with the enemy. It was alot harder to die unless your a very big risk taker or don't use alot of common sense. The 10% boost helps makes things feel more normal like what most players were used to in chromosome so I was happy with that update.
At the same time with 50 drones and the 10% boost, the games do end very very quickly for my taste. If everyone is on equal playing terms then the most you can hope for is 2-3 kills. With the boost, that does not take very long to accomplish and the game seems to end just when I start to enjoy myself.
Yes , Someone can tell me to go play skirmish for a longer match but sometimes I don't feel like going for objectives and I just want to constantly kill things. CCP should add an infinite ambush mode lol. Instead of showing clone count, show the number of clones eliminated and record it for the entire day. Reset the eliminated clones everyday during downtime. I think it would be interesting to see how a game like that would progress. |

I'm glad they fixed spawning. Still, not enough WPs to be had in those matches for me to participate. |

It's weird but my best and my worst games since Uprising have both been ambush. |

Ambush OMS still has the 80 clone count if you prefer that. And regular Ambush with its 50 clones can be a lot less frustrating when you're on the receiving end of a pubstomp; it's over much more quicker without the risk of losing a lot of ISK.
Overall I'm happier with how it's set up now. |

I dont like the whole wait around bit at the end of am ambush now because usually when the enemy team is near 0 people seem to stop spawning presumably so they aren't the last kill so now it gets to 0 and you have some time to kill those who are still alive but this just seems to involve allot of well we cant find anyone so just stand around for a minute or so. Just seems a bit weird. |

Can't spawn in and end the match with zero clones the way you could in the last build. We tried to figure out what exactly was ending the match and so far the best guess is when the last clone bleeds out, it's over. So instead of waiting,,, find a bleeding body go shoot him and put him out of his misery... should end the match.... maybe
Edit: then again, it might be broken somewhere... like the last clone who spawned in has to die... or something. |
