The caldari logi suits cost a gazillion isk to run, and are more fragile than a scout...
...assuming someone is carrying (mostly free) flux grenades. While I HATE them with a passion (the suits) they are so easy to kill that it's laughable.
Two pistol (yup) shots to the body will put down any caldari logi after a flux. There are ways to deal with this already.
Why hasn't anyone bothered to mention this ANYWHERE?
I understand that running into them, and trying to down them with an exile isn't working. Perhaps it's time to rethink that tactic?
EVERY TIME I'm killed by one I see their stats (thanks CCP). It's always something like (550+ shields... 90 armor).
I'm CERTAIN it's not the suits fault... it's the user throwing 5 complex shield mods on and feeling invincible.
HOWEVER, if people had flux loadouts for dealing with this, there would be no whiney threads about it. I'm more concerned about what's going to happen when the shield stacking stops and people use the suit in other ways...
Like 5 complex sidearm damage mods and a Flaylock pistol. = ) Add two armor plates, a repair (if so inclined) and three different nanohives and THIS is what I'm scared of. Or even just a toxin.
Just sayin. It's a highly adaptable flavor of the month. Once the shield thing is 'fixed' these are still gonna be scarey suits. At the SP/ISK cost they SHOULD be.
Hell, they even make good logi's. = ) |

I'm starting to wonder what all the fuss is about, in practice they are rather fragile and somewhat slow, but then I've always been a fan of the flux grenade and almost always carry them.
I'm not even seeing that many of them on the field not enough to warrant all the thread noughts about it.

I see them all the time. People are genuinely pissed that their militia locus grenades and exiles aren't crackin proto gear though.

What if the Logi's just drive LAVs then? You'd make a bunch of easy targets to run over
Or they could just put on shields and armor plates....... |

Even worse, they seem unwilling to save SP for anything as well. |

This, all my fits have flux grenades and a mass driver. Only problems I have are Duvolle Tacts.. |
