I have posted this sentiment in individual threads but let me just throw this out there as a catch all. We need to stop begging CCP for nerfs...period. The fact that CCP apparently listens to its playerbase is a double edged sword. On one hand its great and on the other its playerbase seems to think the only reason they ever die is because whatever killed them is OP. We are acting like a bunch of children with fragile egos who cannot admit that they aren't the absolute best at this game and thus if someone kills them it is because that persons suit, weapon, modules etc are just way to powerful.
This is why we have Uprising where everything gets nerfed and the majority of the playerbase is pissed off. WE created Uprising with our whining!
So everyone just stop it with the nerfs, if you think that your setup can't compete ask for what you use to be buffed instead of asking other people's stuff to be nerfed. And CCP just ignore 99% of nerf requests. Nerfing doesn't create balance it creates blandness. |

you are right about the general mood in this forums.
But here are also alot of people really discussing about problems and try to balance this game, which unfortunately kind of goes hand in hand sometrimes with this nerf-threats. |

Personally I don't understand the things that are asking to be nerfed, I don't understand how things got so effed up from chromosome to uprising, things seemed to be pretty balanced in chromosome, I was pretty happy with things then except heavies, HMGs, and scout shotgunners. which seem to have gotten even worse.
This playerbase is what needs the nerf, everyone is a victim of their own ego, which is why I stopped coming to this forum except to check the announcements.
to me shotguns are too strong, and scouts are too fast, and hit detection is a pain. but that could just be because my aim sucks at times. I don't rant more than once so im not getting into it here. why do you want nerfs? they didn't really change anything but the suits. |
