Look at my stats. I have about 1,200+ kills and 2,500+ deaths. I've played this game day in and out at times. I've had very long nights of ignoring my woman and insomnia trying to level up. I got really far with the old skill point system. With the uprising build here I've been completely robbed of everything. When I say robbed, I don't mean that my skill points weren't there... no..... i mean... when i spent them... i have nothing to show for it. I wanted to get a better dropsuit and I couldnt even get ONE UPGRADE!!!!!!! WHAT THE **** DO I PLAY THIS GAME FOR????????? LITTERALLY I HAVE AMASSED 4 MILLION+ SP JUST TO HAVE TO USE MILLITIA BULLSHIT AGAIN!!???? NO WAY!!!!! AND ON TOP OF THAT, THESE ASSHOLES ON THE BATTLEFIELD ALL HAVE THE HIGHEST LEVEL STUFF. I MIGHT AS WELL NOT EVEN WASTE MY TIME. I'M GETTING SLAYED FROM EVERY DIRECTION THE MOMENT I SPAWN WITH THESE MILITIA BULLSHITS AND THIS GAME IS SEEMING MORE AND MORE LIKE I'M USING TOO MUCH ENERGY FOR TOO LITTLE GAIN!!. If this stuff isn't changed i refuse to continue playing. I never got my mercenary starter pack AUR back or unused the items in the pack either either!!! SMH i USED TO LIKE THIS GAME WHEN EVERYONE WASNT A CHEESY FUCKFACE. |

Sir, calm down. Everyone wants better gear and more SP. I would put your SP at about average for someone who has come to the game about 2 months ago. This game is meant to have long playability where you don't just play it for 2-6 months and "finish" the game. I have had the opportunity to grind, grind, grind to better gear and more SP than what you have and still wish my SP were able to get me more.
There is help for your problem, CCP allows us to purchase AURUM which will grant you access to higher level gear at the cost of real life dollars (cents really). Also, using active and passive skill boosters will increase the yield of precious SP much quicker than without.
With the multi tier Dropsuit layout you can now spec into a general level suit at a much higher level quicker than your specialized suit. If you immediately speced into a specialty suit ie: Logi, Scout, Heavy or Assault, you can now run proto general level gear that gives you all the advantages of proto gear without the class specific bonus.
If it is a weapon issue you are having there will be many more options available to you on the 14th so don't despair, CCP says that there is a hotfix coming for range.
Where you spend your skill points is more important than what you spend them on. If you spec into a gun with a brand new character and rack up sp towards your dropsuit running militia gear with your nice gun you can earn the SP quickly and with less isk spent than if you run around in a high priced proto suit.

In addition to my previous post, playing Skirmish and Ambush OMS are ways to drastically improve your WP and SP gains by allowing you to hack objectives for easy points, no gun needed.
Squad up with me sometime, send me a mail and I'll show you what I mean.

At this stage in Uprising its fair to say - Its not worth investing all your precious SP into proto Dropsuit's - focus more on Skills and Weapons - . Namely AR for a good (early) Uprising return - Suit fittings will come to you later as you progress. Also for a quick fix of assured SP income - try a Logi in the recovery. |
