really? What did they patch then?
You know just wanna say.. When something gets broken like this, how many players do you think will make it to the boards to speak up? maybe 2%.. And of those that DID INDEED speak up of that 2% how many have already moved on?
Im thinking maybe half a percentile of the MD's are still here trying to make it right.. And I think IM THAT half a percent.. because my fellow MD"s are mysteriously absent from the battlefield and I think they gave up on making posts..
So I think I will give up as well.. From now on you will only see people saying the gun is fine.. because all the real MD's left already.. JUST KNOW the posts from now on will not be a true representation of the community..
Mostly trolls who are trying to make it better for their "Duvoulle" and could care less about the balance of the game.. |

The patch fixed some issue with LAV skills and LAV repair fittings. That was it. |

And apparently the LLAV still doesn't work lol theres a thread about it over in bugs or feedback. I just want the MD's smoke trail and where the actuall explosion occurs to be one and the same its annoying when you see the smoke hit an enemy dead on but the explosion happens 5+meters away. |

I'm using an AR for the first time in 4 years. WHY DID IT HAVE TO COME TO THIS?! But I'm having fun still, even if running AR hurts my hipster sensibilities.
We have guys who still go MD and clean up. By clean up, I mean they take our kills. And they still don't put up the numbers we do, but they are far from liabilities. MD still hurts scouts and hurts heavies more now. |

yea after i shot myself in the feet 6 times with an exo and still had shield left on an assault suit i went back to AR
the MD is an absolute joke now

All I seen was that vehicle shields arnt as dependent on infantry skills. Sooooo.....gotta save up points for the same shields I had a few days ago, and a few weeks ago. |

Some of the real MD's are still here. We are with you. The gun is NOT fine, but the %10 damage increase is a start. I still have hope... |

Actually the MD gun IS fine now (unless your rounds arent exploding). If your complaint is over the nerf of the AOE this gun needed that badly. |

Yes these bipolar swings every build are very frustrating. I used to play MD for it's challenge way back when but it was broken and I gave up. Then I played SG and it got nerfed (at least in my opinion - it was impossible to kill protosuits or heavys as a scout with breach SG) last build. So, I started specking back into MD and radar boosting as a scout and started doing ok even with the unnecessarily difficult-to-use breach MD late last build. Guess what, then CCP decides again that all the balances and settings in the beta were garbage and redesigns classes and weapons - traditionally, though, they break things that were not broken and never fix things that were. Go figure. Now I don't want to play anymore. I probably could find a combination that's different from assault suit + AR win button but I don't want to waste my effort - in the end they will reset everything somehow in a completely new unpredictable direction.
Don't get me wrong I am happy that CCP is trying to change and fix things but it seems that they tend to 'fix' things that are not broken. I do like many things in the new build but I feel that CCP completely, out of the blue, destroyed my gaming niche that I was used to as an MD scout with radar bonuses for spotting enemies before they see me. Because they have been 'fixing things' like these too many times I am just losing my motivation to play. And this comes from a guy who bought two merc packs, not so much for the goodies but to support a develope that I used to have faith in. |

Have you tried Breach MD? rounds fly so slow now that you cant hit a moving target. It should work well in close quarters only when you can reasonably well line up a shot but red dots move at maybe 50% of the speed that your MD shell travels so they can easily side step MD projectiles - they do get hit but ONLY with splash that's 80 hp only or so. Add ridiculously slow refire rate to that and you're doomed if that's your primary weapon. Now please tell me that the weapon is not broken. |
