Pre-uprising I skilled into Logi. Now there's four variants. Which one did you pick and why? I'm not looking for THE BEST OP LOLWUT logi suit, but I would like to see what everyone else thinks before I commit my SP. |

They all have a different bonus. I can't remember them right now, but I'll edit this to be accurate after I check.
Gallente: More equipment Minmatar: Increased Mod Slot count Amarr: Not positive, I didn't read it. Caldari: Still not sure.
Ok, brb so I can check this. :P |

Gallente: 5% CPU/PG Usage Reduction on Equipment
Minmatar: +5% Hacking Speed Bonus
Amarr: +5% Armor Repair Module Effectiveness
Caldari: +5% Effectiveness to Shield Extenders
Caldari and Minmatar are very Shield-Oriented, if I remember. The Amarr is very balanced (Idk why not Armor-Oriented), and the Gallente have more Armor. Ok, hope this helped. :D
... ERMERGERD DEY AWL LEWK SO GEWD (except the Minnie one. Should be 5% duct tape roll length per level). |

Kinda torn between Gallente and Amarr atm.
Gallente offers 4 equipment slots, all bonused to use less CPU/PG, which means more room for tank using its 5 low slots.
On the other hand, Amarr gets a sidearm slot along with a light slot ( I know, I know, I should be Logi'ing, not fighting) and an armor repairer bonus.
Leaning towards Gallente, but I've always been Gallente. Maybe it's time for a change of pace. Plus, we have yet to see how well the new scrambler rifles perform against shields. |

Ha! True. I really dislike the Minmatar. I'm not an EvE-Racist, I swear. I'm just incredibly OCD, and everything from the Minmatar looks so dirty and mix-and-match. Although they have some freaking amazing scouts. :D
But yea, they're all pretty nice. I think the Gallente are the best choice, as one of the advantages of the Logistics is that they REALLY like their Equipment, and the Gallente are tied for 1st on Equipment slot count, as well as the 5% CPU/PG reduction. Minmatar are also tied with the Gallente in Equipment slot count, but the Hacking speed isn't really needed. :P |

I was hard pressed between choosing between Minmatar and Gallente, Caldari didn't even enter into my thoughs though if I wanted to go for a combat roll I would have chosen Amarr just for the side arm.
Every logistics gets +5 armor repair (when capped out) which makes Amarr and Gallente even more efficent being armor bias.
Minmatar is the fastest suit, and can stack for lots of shields which doesn't slow the suit like armor does.
Gallente and Minmatar are the only two that get 4 equipment slots which means if you are going for a purely support roll you really only have these two suits to consider. If your going for a pure support roll in my opinion Gallente is the way to go because of the 25% reduction(when maxed out) to PG/CPU means prototype equipment and prototype High/Low slots with out needing PG/CPU boosters.
I went with Gallente because in a pure support role I see them as the undisputed champs of logi suits. I know many people that disagree with me on this, but sa la vie. |

Caldari?
5H slots and +5% shield extender modules.... With lvl 5 Shield Upgrades skill you should be rocking 640ish shields alone...
Then worry about loading out your other slots.
But this is such a broken element that was already discovered within a day of the new build that it will probably be heavily modded or have the racial benefit change completely.
EDIT:
In all seriousness, though. Min have the fastest speed and the most balanced loadout at 4H/4L/4E. That's a LOT of versatility on the battlefield without having to change suits mid-combat which is a less viable option now with new map layouts.
Sure, you're not as strong as others and your total E-HP may only roll out about what a Cal can pull in shields alone... but you shouldn't be there to tank in the first place.
Just my opinion though, and I honestly don't care about the racial suit bonuses so I just kept on trucking as I've been doing for nearly a year now.
Min logi forever! (Or until I quit the game because 99% of players are running Proto Cal Logi suits and Duvolles in a month.) |

I'm personally waiting until next weekend before I decide. The update on the 14th may bring some serious changes to the logi suits and there are enough threads about it now for that to be a real possibility imo.
However, if I had to choose, I'd probably go Gallente what with the potentially OP and very popular scrambler rifle looming over the shield tankers... |
