How is it working for you?
For me, I'm an Ammar Assault medium suit with two stacked enhanced armor plates and an enhanced armor repairer. So far it is working surprisingly well - I feel a bit like a heavy where I can just eat damage but at the cost of moving pretty slowly.
Feels good when after three sniper shots you're still standing with 1/3 left in your armor and your shields are beginning to recharge. |

Any drop suit with more armor than shields or more low slots than high should be using armor mods. Same as EVE. Amarr are armor, caldari shields, talented armor with some shield and min are versatile for either depending on stats. |

Any Amarr Logistics who isn't a moron.
At max skills and 3 complex repair modules, Amarr Logi can rep its own armor at over 25 HP/second which is insane and badass since armor doesn't have a recharge delay like shields do. |

Armor has always been the first tinh id invest in when trying to tank but not too deeply, mostly used for the repair mods for long term survival but that if i live after the fight and have time for the next one.Armor tanking on a medim suits sucks ass with crap shileds, might as well be a heavy if you really want to tank cause you'd can pick either or both with 400base armor or shield. |

50% armor and 50% shields on my Minmatar, was able to fit two basic armor plates and still move faster than the base speeds on other logi's because of my ridiculous movement speed. |

Logi skill to 5 gives a passive 5HP/second
3 Complex Reppers give a total of 15, then add in the Armor Repair skill which boosts efficacy of reppers by 10% and the Amarr Logi bonus of 25%
Its a full active fit, but if you can get behind cover for a couple seconds you're going to be at nearly full tank again. |

To be honest, I see the Logistics suit bonus as incredibly helpful for logibros. Previously, in pitched battles where two obvious fronts develop, I take stray bullets or sniper hits here or there, and my single enhanced armour repairer just didn't pack enough punch to get me back to 100% if kitten hit the fan and the battle goes pear-shaped for us. Now, I'm keeping my HP up whilst being able to support my teammates and I don't have to worry about myself, and if I start noticing the battle turn I can still get away or provide support for a retreat without dying too quickly.
But if I had geared myself towards pure combat and dropped supporting completely, I could also use the armour repair to become incredibly regenerative. Hiding for a couple of seconds would mean 70-100 armour repaired if I stacked repairers, and using a mass driver and flux grenades, that armour regeneration would be extremely effective in the right circumstances.
So logistics suits become everything anyone could ever need. And I don't know whether to like it or not. |
