Not saying payed players don't deserve their advantages, I guess the question is just "when does enough become too much?" anymore then some people think it is already? It's already a notion to some here and those who have not played this game, that this game is p2w. Can't change there mind on that. But maybe if the game becomes great they then find themselves buying boosters, too. or not. I see you grind lovers there! cheeky monkeys. So the solution is to force ppl to pay also, just to keep up with people using MEGA P2W boosters? That would be a massive fail. |

Cat Merc wrote:So you have to choose between 2x SP accumulation while still having the same cap vs 1.5x SP accumulation with a higher cap?
I'm sorry what's pay to win in this again? Last time I checked the whole point of paying was to eliminate the grind, to bridge the gap between people with a lot of money but not a lot of time vs people with a lot of time but no money. The boosters should not exceed 1.5. The SP cap is also there for a reason. You seem to think only new people would use mega boosters and you seem to think no lifers would not have the time to max out a higher cap every single time, either way the gap would grow not shrink, and ppl would be forced to pay to stay relevant. |

Yes It IncreaseS The Skill Differential Between Noobs And ProsBut This Is A Free Game You Dont Have To Use Boosters To Get Good Just Takes The Grind Out Of It. False, a mega booster would not "take the grind away" it would be substantial enough to make the gap impossible to close unless you pay, which many would not, smaller community then, it would just be those that pay and the free users would leave. |

Then there should be a difference between those paying and those not..maybe make it so they get into different lobbies so its fair then we are all happy I have stated before that I think a more robust matchmaking would solve alot of these problems without having to un-eve the progression in this game. I havent played EVE in awhile but I dont remember people complaining about the slow progression in that game.
Although I think segregation of paying and non paying is a horrible, horrible idea. Just current SP total segregation was what I meant. |

Just current SP total segregation was what I meant. Your kidding right? Thats the whole punch line with eve. "like watching paint dry" "after 6 months you get your awesome ship! and also be able to fly one for real" No serious, ask anyone about eve progression. even eve fans, and they will tell you how slow it is. PC GAMER MAGAZINE once did comedy skit on it. I wonder why EVE grows every year if the method is so borked. |
