GENERAL FEEDBACKFirst of all i would like to say that this will be a long post so just bar with me. Now first of all ive ben in beta for a while now but that isnt important. What i have noticed during my time playing is that no matter what you will most players favoring the ar being that it is a sluagher house not to mention how the tactical assualt rifles are now. I have been running test fits just blowing my sp on my main and on alts on each suit and each weapon to try and come up with a solid fit that can compete against the ar which was very hard to do in chromosome. But it is more easier now because of CQC so on my main ive been using shotgun , laser rifle , and nova knives, on one of my alts i have been using the hmg , forge gun mass driver and the swarm , and on my other alt sniper , sub machine gun and scrambler pistol. so after i have gathered information and tested everything out its obvious right now the game favors the ar which it shouldnt all weapons should be equaly balanced not just weapons though dropsuits also. As of right now every dropsuit is fine well maybe the heavy can use a small increase in speed. Now the game itself is great but i feel it lacks in content to keep players interested and i am going to get into that more later in my improve the game section.
Gun Feed Back Lets beging with the ar since it is the most popular
Assualt Rifle: Now i used the ar ever since i started the beta but i find myself using it less because it is easy mode and i want a challange but i forced myself to test it out again. First off this gun is still great it does damage and whipes out anybody which it definately should not even with the reduced range the gun's damage does not seem to have been affected which i dont understand at all every other weapons has been rendered usless but this one hasnt. You culd try an argue about the aimng makes the ar suck no it doesnt the ar is still as good as it was , the tactical assualt rifles are the main issue at the moment. Was melting people like glue wiyh the glu tactical ar. The douvulle ar is hack mode right now.
Mass Driver: Used to use the mass driver all the time in chromosome but now i didnt even bother with. I tried it once and stopped the spash damage nerf was not needed at all. While i was on my main using the nova knives i got 2 or 3 feet close to this militia guy usibg the mass driver and i was using the minmatar scout suit. It was sad really all i did was strafe the bullets landed right next to me but i took no damage. Which i am not understanding that gun shoots grenades it should do splash damage.
Shotgun: This is my main weapon nowi mow down people with the militia shotung and mow down anyone who gets close , and also when i sneak from behind . This with the scout suits speed is an unstoppable combination . I love watching people try to run away. I dont know much about the breach variant soi cant say anything about that.
Forge gun: Powerful extremely powerful can destroy anyone if you can get a direct hit and its a perfect av weapon
Swarm luancher: Never used it
Laser rifle: Was overpowered in the last build but i havent used it in this build so idk
HMG: took me a while to get used to it but i havent had that much of a problem killing people with just the basic hmg and the basic heavy suit.
Nova knives: Perfect weapon escpecially with the minmatar scout suit. Its light which makes you run faster which closes the gap between you and the enemy which allows you to deliver a devestating attack. Not to mention it is the perfect stealth weapon. When you just so happen to sneak behind snipers or even groups of enemies you can tke them with ease without being noticed. The reason for that is because when you attack or even charge the knives you do not appear on the enemies radar which makes it a weapon to be feared
Sniper: Havent a problem with it just think the dot in the middle of the sight should be a little bigger.
Scrambler pistol: Deadly upclose weapon just aim for the head.
Okay i think ive gave my feedback on all the guns i have listed. Now it is time to give my view on how ccp can make dust better.
ways ccp can make dust better
The most important thing ccp needs to do to make this game better is better communication with the community. As of now ccp has little contact with us at all i feel that they should let us know exactly what they are working before hand and ask the community on how we feel about it and ask us what we would like to see in the builds. This is crucial to the success of dust so there needs to be more communication escpecially now since we are so close to release. Also ccp i know you look at numbers tl determine what needs to be nerfed or not but that isnt good enough you need to actually ask the players about it wether its weaons , dropsuits , or vehicles.
More content updates: Ccp i know you guys try to do these alot of stuff in one giant build every 6 months but i feel like it isnt enough to keep players interested in the game. What we need is a new build every 2 to 3 months these will be smaller builds but the more content we get the more we stay interested. Like you could add the weapons, a new game mode , some new maps , and fixes in these small 2 to 3 month builds and that would be great. kind of like what you are doinng with the 6th and the 14th.
Increase map size and battle size: having more people makes for more fun and intense matches.
Increase sp payout and increase the cap. Players should be able to get 10-15k sp out of every match , the isk payout is fine dont mess with that but right now the sp payout is low.
That is all i can think of right now for making the game better please give thoughts and ideas that you wish to add |

i dont mean to be a debby downer. but i think we should wait til full release to make suggestions about the game as a whole. they might have plans for larger maps in full release as well sp cap. its only 5 days. just let your passive sp build up haha |

ppl with nova knives r to fast to shoot at right now as the seem to dodge every thing that shoots in their direction.
and ar is not overpowered laser is underpowered it cant kill anything.
ar is the most common weapon because it is the first thing available to players if u add 20 damage mods to it then it looks like its over powered
I never saw the std laser as over powered just the elm 7 and viziam.
tac ar right now is a just a rapid fire sniper rifle that needs a nerf.
I havnt played many classes but I know what im good at when it comes to combat. so I actually have skill.
if u want to call something over powered blame stacked damage mods the laser I had to hold the beam on a target till the died and the laser is ineffective at close range in fire fight zones think of them as a different version of a sniper rifle...

People with nova knives aren't "too fast" because they are A) paper thin (!!) and B) the speed only matters if they're close (which means you made the mistake of letting the knifer get to his optimal distance in the first place...a stupid mistake on YOUR part).
You saying they're too fast is like me claiming "gun aiming at distance is too responsive"...complete and utter nonsense. |
