Requiring level 5 in a racial Drop suit size to specialize in a racial role suit seems to make the lesser tiers of specialized suits pointless.
instead of Requiring say Amarr Medium Dropsuits V, and Amarr Logistics Dropsuits I to fit a standard Racial logistics suit,
I suggest something more lone the lines of :
Amarr Medium Dropsuits III, and Amarr Logistics Dropsuits I to fit a standard Amarr logistics suit,
Amarr Medium Dropsuits IV, and Amarr Logistics Dropsuits III to fit a Advanced Amarr logistics suit,
Amarr Medium Dropsuits V, and Amarr Logistics Dropsuits V to fit a standard Amarr logistics suit, |

This is a good idea. The problem is the noobs that complexity while for me an eve player makes perfect sense would seems overly complicated... unless I'm underestimating the masses... but I doubt that. |

The fact that I can't use my Raven and Sever suits as they have a several million SP requirement to use. They should be making those basic racial dropsuit skills 1x. Even with an active booster it will take me about 128 rounds to use one of the blue prints. It will take well over 200 rounds to being to use the other. Honestly, it will take something like 600 rounds of play to get to where I was before Uprising. I'm not sure if I'll continue playing considering they've essentially taken the $20 worth of Aurum items out of my reach for what will be several months of me playing if not more. Beyond that, the additional time to get to where I was has just taken the wind out of my sails. I played 4 rounds today after being stoked to come back (I work out of town) and the game just...wasn't fun anymore. The aiming is totally fubar right now on top of that.
They should also be abiding by the "If you could fly it before, you can fly it still" that eve has held true over the expansions. |

i think CCP's idea was to make logistics kind of a specialized medium role...but the specialization gets you very little in terms of benefits compared to the MASSIVE upfront cost
what you're suggesting is basically a co-requisite system....i know several types of ships in EVE used to use this but i forget what they are |

I think the Generic non specialized suits are pointless, but I doubt CCP will remove them and the intermediate skill so this is the best alternative with minimal effort required.
