So the SR that is being released next Tuesday, is it basically a pulse laser (think blasters from Star Wars) or is it a projectile firing weapon?
I know it is going to be effective against shields, can overheat, and also has a charge shot feature which hints at it being a laser, but if it is a projectile weapon, it seems it may fall under more of a hybrid weapon category and should be effective against shields and armor. |

The Scrambler Rifle is more of a Laser Weapon, from what I know. It fires concentrated beams of plasma, like the Pistol, can indeed overheat, and does have a charge feature. It might be projectile, though, but I'm not positive. Should be good against shield too. :D |

Like the AR only better in every way.
Yes, I checked the stats, it will have more damage, better range, same fire rate, higher clip.
And its only 10% more damage to shields than AR. |

Well come the 14th it looks like I will have found my new go to weapon. I read all I could find on them and dropped some SP into the skill so I could give them a go next week.
From the footage I've seen on YouTube of them, imo they are the most badass looking and sounding weapons on the battlefield.
