So this is a new issue, at least for me.
The last 3 times that I have stopped playing DUST my PS3 soft resets.
This wasn't happening earlier today and I checked this issue against other downloaded games and apps that I have and I only have this issue with DUST.
It's not game breaking, but it is kind of annoying. Did you guys change something in the client since this yesterday afternoon?
The reset occurs when you use either of the ways to quit a game. IE Tap the PS button or long hold the PS button. |

I dunno if this will help you, but it did for me, for now atleast.
I deleted the game for the umpteenth time and did a fresh download of the 2.6GB game, the 1.3gb update, and than did the 1.0gb+ client update. So far I haven't had a problem yet. But, I'm not crossing fingers on this game any more. |

Well, that didn't last long. Shortly after writing this I had to reboot the game cause of the ever so loving glitching, I ended up getting the hard reset. Then after going at it for another few hours before getting the ever so loving glitching. I went to reboot the game and was welcomed with the black screen and STUCK there.

Hi,
What happens here is that the game didn't exit in time and the PS3 OS thinks it crashed.
It would be really helpful for us to find the issue if you guys can specify what kind of condition the game was at when you had this issue - for instance, were you in the battle or MQ? were you doing anything specifically?

This happened to me while quitting a game in MQ after a Skirmish match with corpmates, had also just shut down my bluetooth mic (if thats at all relevant, probably not). |

Same. Also I quit once while in the battle stats screen and it caused it to reset. Both quit game options ( holding psbutton and from xmb) cause mine to reset with three beeps. I have been standing still in the merc quarters after a finished battle, I wait for the MQ to load up, I tell my squad i am leaving because I am PTT and the quit using the xmb or not psbutton. |

In MQ after finishing an academy battle. It has a happend the last 3 times I left the game. |

This crappy issue started for me from yesterday. Only happens sometimes when I try to leave in middle of a match.
Also I just got an endless loading screen and when I tried to exit the game, PS3 restarted.
I always quit games using the PS button. |
