The issue of downed friendly body placement has always been a issue in the successful use of Nano-Injectors throughout various builds. Most players have seemed to adapt to the quirky nature of the mechanic and except that in certain situations you will just not be able to revive a teammate who is still bleeding out.
However, the past two days since 'Uprising' launched the use of Nano-Injectors has become frustratingly difficult. The number of instanced when the Injector fails has grown significantly. In situations where the revive should be a simple process (body not thrown, no strange collapsed position, no structures or obstacles in the way) it is impossible to revive my teammate. Obviously, the ability to do battlefield triage is a tactical necessity. However, this apparent problem will negate that support function if not properly addressed. Hopefully, you can locate the source and correct it quickly. Thanks. |

Agreed. The use of nano-injectors since Uprising is such a pain in the a**. Too bad, the older reviving system was much better... |

+1 I'd like to add, this is not just a problem with the ragdoll physics and being unable to find the correct location to revive, as there have been numerous situations where I get the revive prompt, stab, get the animation and sound effect, but the revive fails. This can happen repeatedly until the teammate bleeds out. |

Just a follow up. Today proved even more frustrating as the Nano Injector failed to even operate on several occasions. I would equip it and....nothing. It would not let me stab the downed player at all. No noise, no animation, nothing. This happened over 50% of the time. These players were actively calling for help as well.

An issue I have been having with the new "just push the button without having the needle out" setup is that it seems to be a 1 inch square that i have to stand on for it to pop up. if i move so much as a millimeter off of that spot it goes away. At least with the old design i could have the needle out and just do a little dance over the corpse while mashing the mouse button. |

I have this as well plus confirmtion that calling for help doesn't always bring up revive icon + invisible bodies = nanite injector being pretty much useless. |

standing over the body and pressing circle worked for me yesterday, but equipping the injector manually does not work. Many triages are confused by this, and I often find non squad mates are not reviving me. |

+1 the revive-icon is going to show up as soon as they die after DT, I hope this issue is going to get mooooooore attention now.
On a side-not: Are we going to see more bleuberries bleeding out with the cheaper ISK prices and 3sec respawn? |

Bump:
I know they fixed some of the issues with calling for help but the issues I'm having are within 6 person squads where squate mates are calling me and I'm getting there early, standing over their body and spamming the revive button. It shows I'm zero meters from the body but yet no revive is happening. It doesn't occur all the time so I'm wondering if it's specific plaes where in which the new graphics overlay is preventing me from getting to the person down. Either way it's annoying. |

The way I found to get them up 75% of the time is go from the feet facing the body. The injection spot is the feet i believe. |

However, I tried many revives from various angles and none worked at all. My estimate would be 0/20 revive attempts worked. Most times I'm then killed myself because I'm exposing myself for too long dancing around a corpse.
I did see someone else successfully revive someone, so it does work occasionally.
This bug is costing me in war points , lost isk in suits, my teammates lost isk in suits and more isk in the rewards at the end of the match. |

Also remember that if the body is hit again before it hits the ground or is on the ground the person is "dead" (for lack of a better term for immortals) not just downed. |

+1 I'd also like to add that I'm still getting sent through the ground at times to infinite red zoned void below, rendering me unable to be picked up. |

Also still getting this bug. Today's hotfix that auto calls for help is a big improvement but now I just have more fallen players to fail at reviving. Also, it seems like the floating call for help icon is about as accurate a marker as corpses. I'm doing the jabby dance within 3 meters of the marker and not getting a hit sometimes.
I seem to have about a 2 out of 5 success rate at best. |
