As topic posted. 5 In swarm launcher + related specs basically makes all your skill-points as a vehicle driver wasted. 5 clip size with proto launcher = gg
There seems to be an increase in delay in lock on time, that is good for vehicle drivers, but with the current skill-point sink if I see you call a tank it's going to be 75% dead before you even get in it. That's with me in a scout suit and only a 5% dmg mod + 12% dmg from lvl 4 prof..
There does seem to be a bug with lock-on's that I'm experiencing... sometimes no matter how long I hold the button it won't lock-on. Seems to be an issue when dropships fly far far away and then come back, same with LAVs.
I feel sorry for tank drivers, but I made this alt for a reason :D

Ya last build Swarms were not very effective. But in this build, having lvl5 swarms is overkill considering hardly anyone is even speccing all the way into them. |

1:30hrs of extended DT and no one bothers to quickly look through the skill pre-reqs |

But they're just going to change it back right? yea but it's worth it it helped my skinweave assault either way. i'm sure it will be fixed but for like 100k sp it's worth it. or however much sp it was. i mean i got gunnlogi 6k shield proto missiles and 2 hardeners with a heavy rep. |

Really? The lockon for the free SL was a mere 1.2 sec last night. I was getting a second set off before the first landed. |

It seems the specialist lock-on is 1.7 seconds, the regular version is 1.2 secs.
But the new delay is not what I'm talking about, sometimes the swarm launcher will NEVER lock on. |

I've had times in the current build where I'd get the tone to say I was locked, release the fire button and nothing happened.
When it happens twice in a row then I die, and the target is about 30m in front of me with no shields and half armour, then I respawn across the map and by the time I get back to it, they've repped it and the shields are past 50%, I'm not a happy AV guy.
But then, it happened more than once last build as well, so it's not like that's a new problem. |
