In Chromosome, if you threw all your nanohives and brought up your weapon wheel, you would instantly know that you had no more left (can't remember if it was a little red zero or what, but it was something).
However in Uprising, I have no idea if I have any hives left or not at a glance, I actually have to select one to know for sure (and running logi with two hives, this is extremely inconvenient). The icon doesn't change at all, whether I am full or completely out.
Please add some kind of indicator that shows either how many nanohives are left, or shows when you have no more of them.
BTW, maybe this is different with other hives, but I am using the basic ones (first tier, ISK version). |

Darn. Probably wouldn't be so bad if they didn't run out so quickly, lol. |

Have they nerfed the number carried for the militia? Because I'm sure I've been unable to throw 2 on several occasions today. |

You can have two, but only one is allowed to be active. So as soon as you throw the second, the first stops working. |

The three types of hives I've used so far suffer from this issue and when it's combined with the sometimes ineffective weapon select wheel it becomes a real problem. Tapping your trigger to open the wheel so you know if you have ammo for your guys during a fire fight is fine, trying several times to deploy a hive you don't have because the UI no longer provides proper feedback, much less ok.

Also, even though it has 24 nanite clusters, it evaporates quickly after resupplying two of my grenades. |

The visual feedback is important, also for drop uplinks and remote explosives. |

Ya, its kinda lame. I understand where they were going with needing logis, but its kinda stupid. Nerf the crap out of hives but take away all the supply depots. As I play this build more and more I just dont understand a lot of it. Oh well, I will just have to get used to it i guess. It just doesnt make any sense. |

Exactly, and to add insult to injury, when I hover over the hive to select it from my weapon wheel, a lot of the time it doesn't equip it unless I hold down on the stick for a little longer before releasing R2. If I try to be quick about selecting one, it doesn't seem to work most of the time.
Several times last night I thought I was out of hives, as I would try to select but wouldn't equip. However I found that if I went slower while selecting it, I would have a few more left (I was running with three separate hives last night, which is really horrible with no amount indicator). |
