The game talks about HYBRYD weapons. WHAT are these?

Hybrid weapons are weapons of caldari or gallente origin. They use weapons that used ammunition filled with matter held in a plasma state. Railguns (and the sniper rifle) fire the shell allowing the plasma to be released on impact. Blaster push the plasma througha cyclotron firing it in its plasma state and ejecting the spent plasma shell.
Present Hybrid Weapons: Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Plasma Cannon, Big Blasters, Big Railguns & the plasma shotgun. |

So assault rifles apply too,(all of them)?
Another thing, by PLASMA SHOTGUN. You mean , all shotguns? |

Hybrid weapons are the Gallente and Caldari go-to weapons.
Blaster weapons, like shotguns and the Assault Rifle currently in game are short range, high DPS weapons.
Railguns like the sniper rifle and Forge gun tend to be slow firing, long range big hitters.
Both of these are hybrid weapons. They are equally effective against armor and shields.
Lore-wise railguns are no different from modern day railguns. they magnetically lob a projectile at rediculous speeds to kill people.
Blasters take their ammunition and turn it into a charge of plasma that thet blast you in the face with. they tend to be rapid fire weapons that hit defenses like sandpaper on a butter stick.
Fair warning, both are situational because of the ranges. But hybrid weapons are straightforward and easy to learn. |

Correct. forge guns too.
Upcoming weapon: plasma cannon looks to be a hybrid as well. |

Pretty much the easy way to see it is if it isn't a missile or a laser, it's a hybrid weapon. |
