Whenever I kill someone, rather than their body ragdolling on the ground they just disappear. Poof, as if they were never there.
I'm guessing that this something to do with the fact that I have been using the Mass Driver. My best guess is that this happens because my enemies are killed instantly from explosive damage (and are thus not revivable). Still it is very annoying/immersion breaking, and hard to track sometimes when I get a kill.
Well I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or a design choice. If it is a design choice, then I find it annoying/perplexing, but please move this to Feedback/Requests. |

I saw this happen once while playing last night. Shot a guy at medium-close with a mass driver. There was a little "poof" of blood and he was instantly vaporized. No trace of the body. |

Lol, i'v had this happen to squad mates. As a logi, im trying to keep folks alive, but when some skilled merc starts to volley mass-driver shells on us and catches one of my other logis. He just poofed into nothingness.
Not sure if it is meant to mean they just got "red misted" and attempting to revive is uesless or if it is, infact, a bug. |

I noticed this last night as well. basically the disintegration animation when revive timer runs out or someone gets overkilled (grenades, Forge, MDs and such) seems to be missing. If you shoot someone with a regular gun and then shoot their corpse enough you can recreate the effect (or lack of). |

I have seen it happen with multiple weapons including oddly a random flux grenade kill that vapourised 2 guys. |

All battle types All maps Any time you play any config with MD or sufficient damage is done that would prevent revival See above^
the most difficult part of this is if you are unsure if you killed him you can spend a bit of fruitless time making sure he isn't sneaking behind you. This is particularly a problem with MD because of the smoke effect making you think he could have gotten away...
