Ok. So I see that we can now mail our corps AND alliances. Maybe I am overlooking something, but I do not see anywhere to join/create an alliance.
Are we able to join/create alliances in DUST?
-I would assume we can if there is 'alliance' mail.
How do we join/create alliances? Where are those options available?
-Looked all through corp tabs, everywhere I THINK. |

I am not a CEO, so even if you can create Alliances in DUST, I donGÇÖt think I would be able to see the option to do so. |

Just to be clear, are you the CEO of a Corporation?
Characters create/join Corporations.
Corporations create/join Alliances.
The CEO controls what the Corporation does regarding Alliances. |

Ok. So 2 hours on the rookie thread trying to get a couple of questions answered only to find out through some contacts that it is not possible
So people who may be wondering, DUST corps must either have a CEO playing EVE or transfer CEO to an EVE player to apply to an alliance. HOW DUMB?
I figured some fanboy would have got on this thread and belittled me by now. Pffffffffffftt! Just shows the kind of BS we are going to be expected to just 'deal with'. I guess if you are a dust corp with no eve members then you have to put your corp at the mercy of your EVE affiliations that all the fanboys screamed that you had to have. I'm just glad we allied with some we could trust. Judging by the honor-less glitchers and fanboy flaw-defenders throughout these forums and what appears to be the entire community, trustworthiness and honor are rare. |

Trust is worth more than gold in New Eden.
It sucks that the Corp mechanics are not more developed in DUST. They will continue to be improved, but it is disappointing that so far CCP has left Corporation management tools on the back burner. Not to mention the lack of Corp Taxes and no Corp Hangers. |

Well to form an alliance in EVE you need:
Skill Empire Management to V
CEO of a corporation
1,000,000,000 isk
I assume it'll be the same in DUST
So the questions are:
1) do you have that skill (it's prerequisites are pretty steep actually and it may not be available to dusties atm)
2) Are you a CEO
3) do you have 1bil isk? |

Another option of course is to be CEO of a corp in existing alliance (formed in EVE). And have the executor powers transferred to your corp. Hummmmmm, Acutally I could try that. I've just acquired an alliance and it would be interesting to see if I can transfer it to this dust character.... |

This doesn't matter. It is STUPID to have alliance mail if there is no way to form, OR EVEN join an alliance. Just like it is STUPID to give Dusties the option to even create a corp when they are obviously intended to DO NOTHING BUT FREE LABOR for/via EVE corps.
Its is stupid that you have to skill empire management to 5 before you can form an alliance. WTF

and i'm sorry that a game that until a few months ago didn't even have corps doesn't have all the features of a ten-year old title.
edit: and why does f2p suck? you hate not having to pay for an awesome game? |
