If someone is not able to adapt to a game, and actually give it 24 hrs before threatening to quit, I say dont let the pokeball hit you on the arse. The game is not bad and adjustments will have to be made. Hopefully CCP will clean all the trolls and haters off the fourms and really give people something to cry about.

The new patch is a mixed bag, if it was just new dropsuits and better graphics I could say nothing bad about it, however, its a big nerf to HMG, and unwarented decrease in vehicle powergrid (so you need mods to make it decent for tanking)
They did decrease the cost of the HMG, but it just seems odd. Physicaly much more material goes into the gun, it shoots more bullets, takes a heavy suit to carry, but...... its power level is close to that of light weapons, just different (lower) range
It does cost less, but it seems odd, it takes a heavy suit to carry the very large mideocure HMG that is equal to the AR in many respects, being closer to DPS,and less range. |

In all seriousness I think the game is broken now, I've always thought there was a good balance (if not exactly even) now they buff some guns by 50% damage, debuff others by range, damage, and vision (poor LR).
Basically I think they went crazy trying to fix a few small imbalances and made the game worse overall on a purely metagame level. I know a lot of the threads are being brushed over as QQ, but there are serious issues with weapons and classes now that I think are close to game breaking. Perhaps the CPM could start a vote or something. I feel like 50-70% of the community think the weapons are less balanced now than they were yesterday, I would love to actually hold a poll or something.
Are you still using the LR lowratehitman. I know a couple of the hardcore 8-15KDR laser vets are switching out now. |

At least the forge got a big bonus to full damage radius, (even if it got a nerf to splash radius). The only way to get the HMG back up to full power it to get as much QQ going as possible about how the forge is OP, then maybe the community will rejoice the return your Chrome HMG's :p, well that or take away the Forge gun and call you a ***** for saying it's unfair. |
