They can increase a bit but not as much as the range was in chromosome , the heavies need the most range increae though |

not AR's tho, they are hitting at a fair distance still. I'd only raise the range on HMG and shotguns |

If i can see you I should be able to shoot you, and vice versa at nearly any range. The problem with the old sharpshooter was cry babies who didn't have it cried about being shot. Up the weapon range for everyone, problem solved. |

Move the AR's to the range of TAR. SMG to the current AR, HMG somewhere in b/w Shotties and pistols inside of by very small margin. LR outside the TAR but inside SR So the mid-long range is 70-80M which is the TAR and build around that.
Next speed up movement overall on suits The controls feel too clunky and i wont talk about the mouse since its known to be not working as intended Drop a low slot module on caldari logi(i know needs new build) Increase the base stats of the other classes so they balance around and are comparable to the proto logis.
Remove the Cap or decrease the time needed to specialize into one specialty(new players aren't going to make it otherwise) Work on hit detection Please release the rest of the armor modules you wanted to put in game Fix terrain.
Will add as i play more. |

I completely agree. We're on a battlefield; we should never be safe from gunfire no matter the range if not behind cover. The weapons should have their efficient ranges, of course, but the projectiles shouldn't just straight disappear after a certain range. What kind of silly mechanic is that? |

That philosophy makes for a terrible game though. Ranges are fine where they are now. Adapt to it. |

but if they buff the range then there would be no use for drop ships or tanks to transport infantry across long open plains where sniper fire is a plenty
the range where its at right now will work until all the numbers got done properly

Why does it make for a bad game? HMGs and ARs have high dispersion at long ranges. You might hit the first shot, but after that you'll only land 1 or 2. I'm not asking for lasor accurate rifles at 100 meters, but I am asking to be able to hit people I can see clear as day running across an open field. |

More range would require safe transport. Now I can just stroll along in front of the enemy team as long as I leave a 40m buffer. |

Has nobody here played the AAA shooters on the market or something. The range is really a joke in Dust ATM. Games handle range by using recoil and damage falloff. Making bullets vanish at medium range is just a dumb and lazy nerf. Most games have 100-300m range, BF3 is more like 500-600. You make the guns hard to operate (ahem recoil CPP!) so killing people is extremely hard at long ranges, CCP came up with the wrong fix here. |

I don't want SSP lv 5 range again, but I would like to see SS 5 ranges brought back for everyone/everything. It was a reasonable distance to be able to shoot people. 40 meters is not. |
