I am an allassault guy. I've been since the very beginning back at June of 2012. Back then heavies were a force to be reckon with. Every time I saw one within the next 3 builds since I always ran away from them because I knew they were powerful. I never complained once every time I got killed by one (rage maybe but not go to the forums and HER DERP HEAVIES ARE OP xp)
When Chromosome arrived well heavies got easier to kill. Just get some distance between you and the heavy and BOOM!
And now on Uprising I feel pitty for the heavies. I don't target heavies now just to be fair with them. The HMGs are a joke now. I am rolling an Gallente Assault G-1 series. That means ballistic weapons should do more damage to my armor than blasters. The amount of times I have survived an HMG while low on armor are countless... and this is day 1 of Uprising. I have only died one time by an HMG and it was advance type HMG and he still struggled to kill me. But the amounts of time a militia assault rifle as taken me down in just a few shots are countless.
CCP here this from an all out assault guy and stop listening to assault guys that want everything nerfed just because they got killed easily or because an enemy is harder to kill.
I want the feel the fear I used to feel every time I saw a heavy before Chromosome launched. Heavies are suppose te clear out clusters kf enemies easily. Not go 1v1 with a militia assault rifle and loose.
Please CCP DEVs read this and reply back. The heavies are disappointed and so am I (not hating Uprising just what they did to the heavies)

I hope you are being sincere on this cuz if you are I 1000000000000000000000% agree.. Heavies should be feared and clear a area THAT IS THEIR JOB CCP!!! I have maxed out my profiency and have 2 complex damage Modz and still have trouble against many on here.. reduced is the word they used this is beyond that.. we have no range AND you nerfed the damage hardcore CCP... show us some love
I know yall love the scouts and assault class but dont make us useless

My suggestions: Restore heavies to the way they were before chromosome (HMG included) then, take out their sprint. Accentuate their firepower, accentuate their immobility. As a heavy, I could live with this over what is currently in place any day. |

I have a HEavy with 5 mill SP's ...actually HAD.. no way im skilling heavy now.. BUT WTF>.
Lets not forget all the other nerfs.. They DESTROYED my Mass DRIVER.. I speccd fully top of line MD and I literally cant kill anyone.. the explosions are too small and dont hurt them takes maybe a 1/16th of their shield per Strike.. ITS STUPID OK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |

You know the heavy nerf is bad when non heavies are complaining.
Now watch ccp completely ignore all of us.
Lately, they seem to have ignored a lot of the feed back, nerfed everything but the ar, despite repeated calls for nerfing the ar.
The all round range nerf is terrible, the general nerf to everything is like ccp telling everyone who runs anything but ar to go **** themselves. Yet, they nerfed everything but the ar. |

How about we just remove the ability to sprint for heavies. Give them some range. Another slot or whatever else would be fair and slightly nerf their turning speed. Anything that makes them effective killers at medium range and super heavy.
Previous to this I ran as a shotgun scout and loved the challenge of trying to take down a heavy. It was about 50/50 at the end and I would hate to see them die out :( |

Heavies should be feared. I think we all agree on that. Making heavies into a weaker suit removes their value on the battle field. Once again, I feel like this is something that we can all agree upon.
I suspect that CCP's changes to heavies were the result of them flattening the base price of suits. Now a heavy loadout costs as much as an assault load out (if I remember what I saw in the patchntes correctly since I am still updating an hour later ) to make up for this new price to power differential CCP chose to make the heavy suit weaker. This was, as we have all in this thread stated, a poor decision.
It was fine that heavies were more powerful since they were limited by their speed and also their price. A heavy could easily have his day ruined by a sneaky scout which would end up costing that player a load of isk. All of this was great. CCP should really go back to the old pricing scheme that balanced out killing power with price and movement restrictions. Hey, if a player wants to walk arround as a two legged tank it should be fine but it should cost an arm and a leg and he should move slower than snot.

Things aren't even balanced anymore, with the AR being the new king of killing everything.
Even with the giant cost of the heavy, I was still able to make plenty of isk running it, and when I got low, I just went back to militia stuff (also no longer viable, in anyway. I feel bad for newbies) |

and that is all you see on the battlefield?! if you gonna nerf us heavies this hard take them out the game..they are useless now..I have to get in your face to try and get a kill.. no range once so ever |
