Please reverse this change. It's incredibly painful and bad in every possible way that a change can be bad. |

It's like Modern Warfare 3 all over again, isn't it?

Go to Options> Video> Screen size
I dropped mine down to 74 to squeeze every possible fraction of a degree for field of view, as I could. |

Dont know if its a problem, but it is less then optimal. Mine was set to 100 and this gave me another 5-8 degrees of peripheral. |

There are people who have been fine with previous builds getting motion sickness because of the change.
I'm pretty sure it's a problem for them.
I can handle it, but it gives me a headache if I'm playing for long periods, and it's not as fun to play a game where I can't see what I should be able to. Narrow FOV only comes even remotely close to making sense in corridor shooters where you don't have any use for peripheral vision anyway, and when you're aiming down sights or scoping in on a target. |

I barely like any FPS already because of the inherently small FOV. I generally prefer 3rd person shooters (i.e.--Starhawk). |

Hated Starhawk when I played the beta - openly said "it seems like an awesome game, but I suck too bad for it to be worth playing".
Asked a few friends who got the game about how the single player was, and got pretty noncommital responses.
Played the demo recently, and absolutely LOVE the feel of single player, so I'm considering picking up a copy just for that.
Also play Red Faction: Guerrilla and Armageddon (can't recommend RF: A unless you get it REALLY cheap) and Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. And Space Marine. Space Marine is amazing.
Back on topic though, FOV was at a good point before this build, reducing it is painful, disorienting and a nerf to Scouts, as well as making the game feel generic and small. |

Every one is assuming they knocked down FOV to mitigate screen tearing by way of frame rate chug... On my PS3 its worse now then ever before. Also it seems like the changed the scale of every thing by a few percent. Walls seem lower and the world in general seems smaller. |
