The hooded iron sights totally obscure the target. They are truly, truly awful. I find it very hard to see what i'm aiming at and move my aim accordingly. Anyone else struggling here? |

CCP Congrats.... Players think its Hard to use the Laser now.... They fixed an OP weapon.... Oh **** that is crazy
no but seriously I like the laser as much as the next guy but damn these weapons are seriously annoying and tend to do crowd control...
There are many Over powered laser post usually because people use the viziam or dont realize the pure power of LR's...
I say it much better for this weapon. Its harder for you to aim with it, meaning the weapon OP has been lifted....

The sight is completely obscured now. The iron sights were never needed for the lasers. Bringing the Viziam down from 20hp was the only thing they needed to do. Combine that with the SS for distance being removed was enough. |

I agree. I can't see my target with the bulky sight. I'm ok with the decreased zoom but the previous scoping it had was good. |

Did just fine with them earlier today...went 17/3 with the LR and irons in a FW battle (yeah one actually worked... I was shocked). |

This game is supposed to take place in a sci-fi future but most of the guns seem worse than guns used in world war 1. It's not just the laser rifle sights that suck. |

if say they removed the top part of the circular sights then it would be a bit better. I would like to see where my beam is going but still use the Iron sights....demanding I know. |

So, I'm still patching the game but here's a question about the overheat, it's still the same from the previous build or it's even faster? I know that the heat buildup can be decreased only with the Amarr Assault suit, but still I'm wondering about this I'm going Caldari in this build like before, but I'm not going to spec again in the Viziam... why would I need to waste my SP in a weapon that deals the same damage as the basic and the advanced LR... (Yeah, the Viziam was broken but now it's really pointless to get one) |

See this is the thing, people complained about the old AR camera sights and wanted scopes/iron sights.
Now they have iron sights they want the camera sights back.

Iron sights make it too hard to see target. I don't care if I do 1 dmg a second, at least let me see that I am doing that dmg and that I am hitting a person and not the CRU behind him. |

I don't really see the benefit of the "proto" Viziam. All other weapons at the same level have at least a marginal improvement in HP. Heat build up is like a 1.1 sec difference or something. Not worth the SP. I would just stick with a basic AR till they address things a bit.
