Is this a bug? Seriously, I jump down on a weak Assault, and before I know it I'm dead, just because he can point in my general direction and hold r1. Is this a bug? |

Not much, and I knew that when I made the fitting, but I had NO idea It would be possible for me to die this easily from such basic and accessible equipment. |

This is ridiculous. The game is literally unplayable for me now. I'm running, JUST SPAWNED, I hear a few shots hit me, and I'm dead. I guess I'll have to mess around with this fitting, because it's impossible for me to fit more than 1 module right now due to the ridiculous CPU. |

Um. Math.
Scouts have always died that quick. Militia AR does 31.0 damage. 4 shots get you to 124, 5 to 155.
Scouts, start with 190. So yeah maybe you could survive that, unless hes landed a shot or two in your head.
Honestly look at the math between the different meta levels of ARs. The DPS isnt much higher at any teir. Even the duvual would maybe cut your survival down by 1 bullet, if that, depending on your health.
It only does 34.1 damage. That's 3 more damage per bullet. So over the 4-5 shots you got hit with, it only did 12-15 more damage. So why do you expect the kill times on the militia version to be that much less? |

Haha Apperently The Op Has Never Played As A Scout. Looked At that Speed And Was Like Damn Thats Fast. Even MyProto Scout Last Build Only Had The Same Hp As A Militia Assult. So If Your Not Careful You Die. |

I think what you experienced is two fold:
1) In the past there was a corelation between player skill and meta level of the gun they were using. So players with better aim tended to use the gek or Duvolle. Now with the SP reset you probably see all sorts of players using militia gear until they figure out what they want to spec into.
2) Increased strength of the auto aim means speed tanking is less practical as a scout. You will likely have a lot more trouble engaging assaults 1 on 1 and hoping they miss. Kill times will likely feel quicker across the board, but will be most noticed by scouts who used to be able to just dance and make everyone miss. (trust me, I did this all the time). Small hitbox + high speed meant lack of strong sticky aim made it very difficult to hit. Stronger sticky aim means scots are far more vulnerable.
This is in theory, based on patch notes and not from me playing so far. |
