It was my understanding that items such as AURUM BPO dropsuits such as the Sever and Raven would be removed from assets and their AUrum value refunded at current market value. Being of course because many of us (like myself) spent thousands of aurum on suits that were the only available for their class.
Yet here I stamd in my merc quarter looking at my BPO suits I will never use again because I wanted to go from minmatar logistics to gallente or amarr. WTF CCP? |

NO Aur for BPO's. Some people can't keep big Mouths shut
CCP Eterne wrote: Hey guys, a brief update. We will not be refunding any Militia BPOs, but rather returning them to your inventory.
A number of you brought up the very real possibility that people would get millions of AUR refunded because at one point they were selling for much less and after further consideration, we realized this would give a hugely unfair advantage to these people.
We hope everyone understands this decision. |

I thought items where the the skill reqs were changing drastically "would" be refunded? It makes sense to keep militia stuff, because anyone can use it. The Raven and Sever both require V in medium frame Caldari or Minmatar and a +1 to a specialization to even use now. Isn't that why we were being refunded various items in the first place? To prevent this sort of thing? |

There are plenty of cases of suits not being able to be bought in current build while I haven't loaded the game yet there is likely chance that raven valor and severs suits are not being sold on the stores. They where more of a welcome home MAG players sort of gift. |

Awh, so my Sever is useless now? I wasn't planning on going Minmatar, but if it saves me ISK, I guess I'll have to be forced into it.
The option to trade it for a different BPO would have been nice, instead of a refund. |

These weren't earned, they were bought with aurum and they are not militia. They should have put a variant for each race on the market and refunded the aurum people paid. We would happily pay the AURUM right back to CCP for a BPO standard suit of our new race. As it is either stick with what racial suit you used in BETA or have pissed away 14,000 AUR (I think that is what I bought them at).
The worst part is they said they were going to do it and then didin't
From dev blog:
"All AUR items will be cleared and users reimbursed with their current AUR value (with exceptions noted previously, such as Militia BPOs)."

All three are in stores at 19,800 AUR, Raven, Sever, and Valor.
Edit: Slightly unrelated, most of my Neo stuff was refunded, but I still have my Neo Heavy suits for some reason. |

Great for you, I wasn't in the closed beta yet, I spent real money for them and now I am either pigeon holed into what I spec into or that is money wasted.
My title is no longer a question, CCP outright lied. Ultimatums are immature, I know, but I'm simply not going to spend any more of my money on this game if this is how its goign to be. I've bought 3 merc packs (I know others have bought lots more) so I paid full retail price for this game upfront basically and for the first time I regret it. |

Does the militia BPO thing include the dropsuits cause I no longer have the Eon Heavy or Primordial Assault and I can't be 100% sure as I don't remember the prices but I dont think I've gotten any Aur back for them. |

Yeah, I lost my militia BPOs, but kept the Raven & Sever... and NEO Heavy. Raven and Sever are still on the market. Go figure. |

I have to agree with Zahle (and not just out of comradery), I've put around $65 into the game and while I had no expectation of a refund on any of that, I was expecting to get at least some of the aur I spent on pre-Uprising items back under the pretense that it's a new dynamic with new systems. There are some items I know would not be refunded, but the MAG suits were not them (didn't expect the Militia items to not be refunded, either, but those are everyman items so I can accept that they'd be kept).
I'm skilling pure Amarr so the MAG suits have no place in my inventory, and unless the market will be allowing aur sales I'm not going to be seeing any manner of return investment in this current situation. |

They stated:
"items received from events (those not purchasable on the in-game market)" The Raven and Sever suits weren't necessarily from events - people such as myself paid for them, ergo, by their own words we would've been expecting a refund on those items (especially with drastic skill changes). They are also STILL on the market, which means it has nothing to do with preserving a collectable - you could buy another this very minute. |

I am just sad that I wont be going calardi suits, but my raven suit is caldari. I would use it, but almost 2 min SP to even use it..naw...It would be nice to have a AUR suit for each race and give us the ability to buy that with the refunded AUR from my Raven. I can understand if it was a mistake, and I understand if nothing is done. I can except my losses, but to be perfectly honest..I feel like I got taken for my money a bit. Oh well..short term loss I say. |

What they should do with the sver raven and valor dropsuits is to make them so any one can use them without having to skill into that race. Or maybe just skill into the roll and not the specific race.
Because it does make them just a collector item if you don't skill into them.
Gotta say that big mouths make me laugh, bragging you are going to be getting millions in aur and not thinking ccp will do something. Also the tattle-tales crying about the aur refund because they didn't get a merc pack refund without reset.

Alas I am not your baby sitter nor am I your GM nor a bug report repository. While some complaints will formulate into issues there is little I can really do about it overall if CCP already has a fix on the way or its a fix that requires CCP to make things work right instead of the problems that doesn't have a simple how to unbreak it.
I argue about problems such as multipliers being to high, how you guys are going to elect your next council and so on mostly right now looking for those possible topics now that may be plaguing me for a while so far everything seems hot-fixable or petition-able. |

Other players have created patitions and CCP answer is they are not refunding them at this time... Seems like its a job for the CPM to discuss the ramifications of breaching players trust like that when it comes to real money. |
